There’s this small moment in my day that no matter how crazy everything is, it brings me back to myself. It's nothing big or fancy, but it means so much to me. You see, every morning before the hustle starts, I sit outside with a cup of tea in my hand. Just me, the rising sun, and the sound of birds singing like they don’t have a care in the world. That moment right there feels like peace wrapped in silence. It's small, but it recharges my soul
Sometimes, we’re always waiting for big things to happen before we feel happy like a new job, more money, big celebrations. But I've come to learn that the little things we ignore are the real blessings. That 10 to 15 minutes I spend sitting quietly every morning helps me reset. It's like a reminder that I’m still breathing, still here, and I still got a chance to try again
The world dey rush us too much. Everything na hurry. Notifications everywhere, people shouting, stress up and down. But in that one moment every morning, everything slow down for me. I don’t check my phone, I no dey think about work or problems, just the breeze blowing small-small, my tea warm in my hand, and me looking around like say na the first time I dey see the sky
That moment influence my day pass anything. If I miss it, I dey feel somehow like say something important no happen. But if I catch that moment, I dey enter the day with better energy. It make me more patient, more calm, and more thankful. Even when wahala come later in the day, I just remember my morning peace and I tell myself say e go better
And you know the funny part? That small joy cost nothing. No need for data, money or crowd. Just a simple habit I build and it change how I see life. I dey more mindful now. I dey appreciate things wey I use to overlook like the way the wind dey play with leaves, or how a stranger smile fit lift your mood
So to anybody reading this, I go say, look for that one small moment wey dey make you feel alive. No matter how small e be, hold am well. Life no suppose hard every time. Sometimes na the little joy wey we fit hold on to, na e dey give us strength to face the big challenges
