Two days ago, I decided to scroll back to my introduction post on Hive and then take a closer look at my writing skill at my early beginning on Hive and how it has improved or not currently. The truth is that I couldn't control the laughter at some point seeing lots of unimaginable errors and mistakes in my posts back then. I am still not in any way perfect, but then, I didn't see them, but now, I literally feel ashamed of some things I wrote then; it keeps getting better, I must say!
Then I remembered my initial perspective prior to joining Hive. I told myself that there is no need to create any account since it's all about writing; I don't belong here because I can't write anything lengthy; my limit is just roughly 50 words. But somehow, my cousin was able to convince me, and now, I have a different perspective; HIVE did it.
Looking back at the numerous posts I have published on Hive, my God, I can't believe I wrote all of that. Like, how did I do that and still keep counting? Hive has been a learning platform for me, and I am so privileged to have this opportunity. Many new perspectives have been birthed via Hive, as well as the connection to more people across the globe, which I have now all to myself.
To be specific, one important aspect of perspective that the Hive blockchain changed about me is that we only need to stick with something for a while with effort and commitment and then see ourselves doing what we felt was impossible. This is my new perspective, because initially, I didn't believe in myself in many ways until Hive changed this narrative. I never believed someone could learn how to write from this space, but I learned the little I know now from Hive. I never believed that it's possible to be genuinely connected with people through the virtual space, but Hive has changed this perspective, and I'm practically connected to people who I can say have become a family to me; it's quite incredible.
Hive has made great impacts in my life. I wouldn't deny that I came for the crypto, but I have stayed not only because of the crypto I earn but also because of the value I get on Hive without paying for it and the good people Hive has connected me to. I always have a lot to say whenever this kind of prompt comes up, but I wouldn't talk deep on the impacts of Hive in my life so far but to express how my perspectives have changed through Hive and how possibly Hive connected me with lots of great people in this space with more to come, I believe!
Finally, I will leave you with the same question: how has the Hive Blockchain changed your perspective or connected you to more people?
