Hello, everyone,
I'm new here on Ecency, and I figured I would begin with introducing myself. You know, something nice and proper to start with. Nothing too formal, just a little introduction of who I am and why I'm here.
My name is Nova, and I am an Igbo man from Aba, in Abia State, Nigeria. If you know Aba, you'll understand that it's a tough city with an abundance of creativity and raw hustle. That's where you learn early on to navigate life, be smart, sharp and push with focus. That attitude takes me wherever I go.
I'm a writer, though I still feel like I'm a work in progress.
I don't have everything together now, and maybe I never will but I do know writing is something I can't escape. It helps me make sense of the world, and sometimes even escape it.
I write about life, people, and moments most wouldn't even see. I like to remain authentic, raw when I must be, tender when I desire to be. If you're looking for refined perfection (the Shakespeare kind), then I probably won't be your cup of tea. But if you're a reader who enjoys unfiltered thoughts, stories that are well-worn, and a little bit of chaos now and again, and maybe a little mistake, then you'll be entirely comfortable with me. All I ask is a little patience with me as I grow in this journey.
Other than writing, I'm just a human trying to show up. I love good tunes, tidy lifestyles, important conversations, and the occasional selfie after my hair has just been braided 🤗🤗. I believe that I have a curious mind and a calm heart. I love making friends with people and being places. Lets just say I love things that make my time and life worth living.
What brought me to Ecency?
I wanted somewhere to share, learn, grow, and maybe find others who don't gripe about a bit of depth. I was tired of being without much value to myself. I wanted a new experience, a new kind of task. I did some search online and saw this community and how strong it was. There were other platforms but from reviews I saw online of how the people support, interact, and care about real content. That is the kind of atmosphere that I was craving to be around. Somewhere that helps you grow without requiring perfection.
I don’t come with big numbers or a loud online presence. I’m just here to be myself. To add my voice, however small, to the conversation.
So yeah, if you're reading this, thanks for taking a minute of your time. It made my day. I look forward to learning from you, connecting with you, and maybe even inspiring something in you along the way. Say hello if you'd like or just leave a random thought, maybe something that can help with my growth here.
I'll always appreciate it.
Looking forward to what's next.
Warm hugs from Aba, Nova.
