Hello, everyone.
I welcome you to my blog. You have to agree with me that navigating through the hive platform is one difficult thing one has to deal with as a newbie that just stepped into the space. This is why one needs the guidance of their onboarder when they start their hive journey, but many of us were not lucky enough to have our onboarder guide us through, which made the knowledge we could acquire very limited.
designed in canva.
At first, I was told about hive and how it has impacted the lives of many, and I wanted to join, but the zeal to join died off after I was told it had to do with cryptocurrency and, most of all, had to do with writing. Two things I detested so much, working together to make the lives of people better is what I couldn't comprehend. Before I started hive, I made the mistake of investing my school and a part of my rent in shitcoins. That money was disappeared while the coins stayed, and I had to hustle it back on my own. So my hatred for cryptocurrency started, but hive changed all that already.
I almost did not join the hive platform, but I joined at last, and till date I have not found a single reason to regret joining. Navigating through the platform and understanding how it works can be frustrating sometimes. One thing I learned here is to ask questions wherever and whenever you encounter difficulties, as a very little mistake can cause you to suffer losses. I stayed on the platform for close to six months but never learned about the existence of hive second-layer tokens.
You can earn the second layer tokens either by investing in them (that's swapping hive for them) or by using the community tag. After I was told about it, I found it interesting but did not know how to go about earning through investment. That's swapping hive for second layer tokens, but I took using community tags seriously, and I earned a few second layer tokens.
Early last year, I finally got someone who introduced me to tribaldex, saying that is where he swaps hive for any second layer tokens of his choice and vice versa. I did not hesitate to ask questions; he did a screen recording and sent it to me, and it was indeed helpful. All you need to do is log into tribaldex using your active key, go to the diesel pool, select which token you are swapping and to which, and swap.
It's not as difficult as I expected. If you wish to withdraw hive, swap any token you wish to hive and go to your wallet while still on tribaldex, click on withdraw, and input the amount of hive you wish to withdraw from your tribaldex wallet to your hive wallet. In seconds, it reflects on your hive wallet, and you are good to go.
One thing about the hive platform is that you cannot know it all. That's why you must ask questions wherever and whenever you need to; that's how you get to learn and know your way around.
