Connections on Hive and off is important in life. Infact I’ve based my life on building valuable connections. Life won’t always be smooth so you need genuine people. People that would be there at the good times and also when things are crazy. First step I think is to be genuine, build the connection from your heart, not because of maybe what you stand to gain or from a FOMO point of view.
For example, on Hive, someone like @ibbtammy I hold in high esteem because of the connection we’ve built for years. That connection has saved me so many times both off hive and on Hive. I can go on and mention @hopestylist who as at when I knew her, I felt she was very engaging and we built a connection on chain, today she’s the reason why this hangout is running and probably the reason why I came back on Hive.
Substaining the connection is the difficult part, like they say, it’s easy to make something, but hard to keep it. Along the lines, I’ve lost a lot of people I know I shared a genuine connection with and one thing I know for sure as a reason is Bad communication. Communication is everything, keep going, back and forth with each other, even if there is nothing to say, do the Hi’s lol. Keep going back and forth like @beckyroyal and @empressjay does. Very cute! Anyways that’s it, once the communication dies, the connection breaks and soon it starts lagging like my MTN network these days.
@nkemakonam89 and @jhymi you both said you don’t know where to start from. You can start from here :)
Let’s know how you both substain the relationships you have built here. I know Nkem tries to kill and fry chicken for people she meets but I don’t know of Jhymi.
Edit: we would be giving 70 Hive this week instead of 20!
