People misspell things on here all the time. We are bloggers, we are not professional journalists. We are exempted from spelling and grammar mistakes because of this. For the most part we are not employed in a journalistic capacity and our opinions are simply our own musings about whatever happens to be going on at the time. I know that I do not cross reference the things that I say on here but for the most part I try to keep my opinion out of it anyway. I, like most people, have my own bias but since I am not here to convince anyone to join any particular political party, I don't bother with making sure all of my information is correct. I do, however, make some effort to ensure that my spelling is correct even if I am depending on the technology on my computer to do most of it for me.
I find it pretty embarrassing (by the way, "embarrassing" is a word that I misspelled most of my life until spell-checker taught me) that major news sites routinely make egregious errors in their reports before and even after they put them online.
There is a rather popular news organization with a clear conservative leaning called Conservative Brief and they routinely make massive mistakes not necessarily in the truth of their content, but in their horrible spelling and grammar misakes.

I have no idea how big this organization is but I do know that their articles are frequently re-blogged by major conservative players like Trump, Cruz, Rand Paul, and others. Normally this is because CB is always going to paint these players in a positive light and the liberals in a negative light, as is expected.
In a recent article where they were discussing how Trump is requesting that DeSantis bow out of the race they made a number of mistakes in a mere 500 word article.

Look at that... just look at that! It is understandable if you accidentally type the wrong word and it gets past your spell checker but ahve isn't even a word. It's underlined on my screen right over there right now. How in the actual hell did that make it to "print." Are they typing this on a Commodore 64 from 1985?

Another issue that I have with this article is that it is yet again, intentionally misleading. Trump made no such "demand" of DeSantis. What happened was Trump was being interviewed and he told whoever was interviewing him with American Sunrise, whatever the hell that is, that he thinks DeSantis should drop out of the race. That hardly sounds like a demand to me but perhaps Conservative Brief knows that their audience isn't actually going to read the article and just believe the headline. Unfortunately this is how a lot of people get their news these days. There is very little in the way of substance in the entire article. Instead it is a pure opinion piece by author Jon Dougherty, who as you would expect, had a 100% pro-Conservative viewpoint on just about anything.
The media cannot be trusted to even spell-check their articles. Do you really think that they are putting any real effort into making certain that their claims are true? I don't!
