Hi Info-Warriors,
I'm just bordered about the way the AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine totally went into extinction in the United Kingdom and it surprises me why the first UK based Covid-19 vaccine could just disappear from it's homeland so easily. I could remember the excitements in the face of the British and other parts of the UK when the AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine was announced to them in December 2020 and the relieve it brought to them in the mist of the ravaging covid-19 pandemic as at that time. Thousands of UK citizens were dieing of the pandemic while others were hospitalized after being confirmed covid-19 positive. So, what has happened to the AstraZeneca vaccine in recent that after being so effective in the first 4 to 5 months of 2021, became a thing of the past.
What's the AstraZeneca Covid-19 Vaccine Made up of
Adenoviruses are a common group of viruses that cause different types of sicknesses like bronchitis. Most people have been exposed to them in their lives. The AstraZeneca vaccine is made from an adenovirus that has been changed in the lab so it can't cause harm. It has been adjusted to work as a delivery system for the vaccine. The shot gives the body instructions to create the spike protein from COVID-19 in its cells. That way, when a person is exposed to COVID-19, its immune system will recognize the part of the virus that has those spike proteins and will know how to how to fight it.

Based on the afore going, one will deduced that the coronavirus contains adenovirus that are harmful to the body and it'll be very necessary to produce a vaccine that can fight the harmful nature of the adenovirus, so the AstraZeneca vaccine during the production process deleted the harm part of adenovirus to make the vaccine safe for human consumption. After deleting some components of adenovirus in the vaccine, the vaccine was tested for use by the WHO standard before it was administered to the victims of the covid-19 pandemic. It was also taken by those who are covid negative to prevent them from the coronavirus.
Why was the AstraZeneca Vaccine Sent in Extinction in the United Kingdom?
Apart from the blood clotting side effects of the AstraZeneca vaccine on covid-19 positive cases below 40. But the vaccine was and it's still effective for the vulnerable in the society, which comprisis the aged, elderly and children. To me if the vaccine can be used for a certain age group in the society, then it should've been removed completely from the UK, instead it shouldn't be administered to the people below 40 years. Totally removing the AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine from the UK means that the UK government is calling the vaccine a failure. According to the former chief of the country's vaccine taskforce Mr Clive Dix said:
We've seen early data that the Oxford jab produces a very durable cellular response and if you've got a durable cellular immunity response then they can last for a long time. It can last for life in some cases."
AstraZeneca has faced both praise and criticism during the pandemic, with its Covid jab hailed as being one of the first on the market and for its low cost in comparison to other jabs.

In terms of covid mortality rate among the vulnerable in the society, UK and it's Oxford jab has the lowest rate when compared with other vaccines in Europe.
My final summation is that the UK government should return the AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine to be used majorly by the vulnerable in the society and the Oxford jab shouldn't be administered to the range of age group that have blood clot as its side effects.
Thanks for stopping by.
