Hello dear readers, this is an opportunity to share some reflections on the impact of technological development on the environment, this if we consider that the recurrent use of natural resources to create technology causes the increase of greenhouse gases, generated the depletion of energy resources and the depletion of natural resources.
According to the results of an investigation into the effectiveness of Carbon Capture and Utilization technology, they question the ability of some of these methods to comply with the guidelines that have been agreed to date to counteract the effects of climate change on a global scale.
In order to mention, that in attention to the information that could be extracted from the conclusions of the aforementioned investigation, it is that some of the techniques used to date do not reduce the discharge of carbon dioxide consistently and are unable to guarantee the goals stipulated to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
On the other hand, within the scientific inferences reported in the aforementioned research, it follows that the processes to take advantage of carbon dioxide from the emanations of the atmosphere and from power plants or industry to reuse it, also generate emissions, therefore that the implemented technologies do not solve the problem.
At present, it is necessary to seek solutions to make development compatible with the maintenance of the planet's habitability conditions, that is, to have a sustainable development, and this requires the use of technologies for the conservation and protection of the environment.
