I have been increasingly viewing history again due to the shifting sands of the Covid narrative. Revisionism, derived from the Latin of to view again, is used mostly in historical terms, such as Holocaust revisionism. Rewriting history to suit a particular narrative. Stalin did it to Trotsky.
Now it can be applied to the last few years
A friend wrote to me recently and told me that he and his partner had Covid for a couple of weeks but the vaccine worked and they weren’t particularly ill...some lingering tiredness but he had a day or so feeling lethargic with a runny nose. No worse than that really. They checked out the government guidance that said go about your normal life after five days but they found the WHO website clearer that while testing positive you remain contagious, so they kept to themselves for two weeks.
Then he goes on to tell me he’s getting his Covid booster on Saturday.
However, it was his suggestion that he didn’t think it was ever suggested that the vaccine stopped people being contagious...What the vaccine did was stop people being seriously ill, well that really annoyed me.
Historical revisionism in action.
We really do live in an Orwellian universe.
I wrote back to him.
Do you really not remember when they said this "deadly" pandemic could only be stopped if everyone had the jab? I recall Rachel Maddows stating that the vaccination would stop Covid in its tracks. They said tests/trials showed it was highly effective at stopping people getting ill. Some said 95%, some said 85%. Only after it was undeniably apparent that it didn't stop people from getting the virus, did the official story change.
The overall effectiveness has been remarkable... it's a great day,
Tal Zaks, the chief medical officer at Moderna, told BBC News on 16th November 2020.
Dr Stephen Hoge, the company's president, said he "grinned ear to ear for a minute" when the results came in. He told BBC News:
I don't think any of us really hoped that the vaccine would be 94% effective at preventing Covid-19 disease, that was really a stunning realisation.
On December 2nd the PM (Boris Johnson) said hopes of normal life returning in the spring had given way to “sure and certain knowledge that we will succeed” after Britain became the first country in the western world to approve a Covid vaccine. The piece further states;
The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) said no corners had been cut in licensing the jab in record time, and the vaccine had been subjected to the most thorough scrutiny by experts working round the clock. The UK has bought 40m doses of the vaccine, which has been shown to have 95% efficacy...it should help to prevent 99% of deaths from the virus.
The British government boasted about speeding through the regulatory approvals and that;
the task of convincing people of the safety of vaccines was crucial.
Turns out Pfizer have openly admitted the trials were fraudulent.
There was no basis, none at all, for stating the vaccines were safe and effective. Let that sink in, the trials that were so lauded were frauds. The continued stranglehold of the media means the enormity of this just hasn't sunk in. It means safe and effective was based on a criminal act.
Effective at what? Making people less ill then they would otherwise have been? Do you think you were significantly less ill? And yes that is also what they said. I would say that was practically impossible to prove.
Safe? What about all the people who have died due to taking the vaccination? Whilst the majority of people who died of/with Covid were elderly, the people dying from the shot are all across the age spectrum.
Once again, they are not being open and transparent with us. A major news story that is not getting much coverage is that of the excess mortality in the UK. (It's not just here either). Last I heard it was about 1,000 extra deaths a week. Again, across the age spectrum.
Dr John Cambell is a well respected and pretty establishment type but he does do his best to present the evidence. He was a nursing teacher for many years. So I think that informs his style. He's even been on the BBC and you don't want to know what I think about them.
Can anyone with a straight face say that the press are unbiased and impartial? No, of course not. They print propaganda in favour of one side over the other. In fact, you have to seek out a more balanced view. It can take time.
Anyway, I get it. You're not convinced that the authorities have acted to hurt us and lied and manipulated us. Even if the UK govt did spend £6 bn to advertise the shot to us utilising the most up to date social behavioural tools to persuasively convince us. They were obsessed about the roll out and overcoming vaccine hesitancy. Not hesitant - I didn't trust them then and my mistrust has been borne out.
In my opinion we are being gaslit. We have been lied to about the vaccines. They are feeding us a pack of lies about the enemy, whilst concealing that our allies in Ukraine are the very worst people you can imagine.
Do you think therefore the government and the BoE are telling us the truth about the economy? Do you believe them when they say inflation is 10%? Do you think they speak truthfully when they say they will have inflation at 2% in 2024. Do you even remember when they said inflation was temporary and transitory? It's all a pack of lies, just like the rest of it. At the end of the Soviet Union the major newspaper Pravda (which means truth - and once it probably did tell the truth), came to be seen as the pure propaganda arm it was.
By Asyenka - site no longer reachable alas.
Lies with a little truth sprinkled in.
Before my eyes the state, corporations and the media came together and worked in accordance. In light of an emergency - the pandemic - it was of utmost importance they all work together, sing from the same hymn sheet. In order to do that they silenced the opposition. I know this because I am in the opposition. I can say this to you because we do not as yet live in the type of society where I will be disappeared for writing to such things. I do sometimes wonder if history repeats and if we are heading to hyperinflation combined with a depression - what comes after, what effect will have that on society?
Propaganda is a powerful force and I fear it's influence. Perhaps those who wield it now believe they are doing good? I'm pretty sure Hitler thought the same.
I'm not trying to convince you. The information is out there for you to make up your own mind. I just want to pique your curiosity and inform you that there is an opposition out there who continue to speak out despite all the attempts to silence us.
See this article from The Guardian
where the authorities accuse us of spreading misinformation. Of conspiracy theories. The article throws a bundle of conspiracies together most from the fringes and then just throws in Bill Gates name as if as if he's involved in anyway. Clue he is a big player in this.
I can't think why I would possibly be lying to you though. I am not selling a product. Or peddling a whacky, the ruling class are lizards, theory to you.
The article proceeds to hang out an historical analogy. Oh those people of the past, not as advanced and sophisticated as us, they raised similar issues in the 1840s. That is that vaccines cause harm, there’s an alliance between medical science and government driven by profit, and an infringement of civil liberties. Plus good diet and exercise are beneficial. Yet, my reaction is to relate to those people. What was true then appears true to me now.
I see the emperor has no clothes. When the thoroughly corrupted authorities start claiming they and they alone know what is misinformation. I see it for what it is, a power grab. Under the auspices of an emergency the narrative must be controlled by the state.
In contrast to what the article states it was the msm that stuck to simple messaging, highly engaging, that fed on our deepest fears and doubts. It was the BBC that had death tallies. In the alternative media space we encourage folk to go out seek information - think for yourself is a motto we live by.
The authorities warn you to keep away from the misinformation (as they determine it). You’re too stupid you'll fall prey for it. I think is their reasoning. They demand your trust.
Do you think Covid could be helped for the majority by having a healthy diet? Crazy conspiracy. Next these anti-vaxxers will be saying Vitamin C could help lessen symptoms. Crazy conspiracy.
I mean really it's neither original, nor that radical, to suggest that the big pharmaceutical companies did not want to pursue treatment of this disease with cheap, re-purposed drugs.
Ivermectin is a proper drug - it's been dispensed to millions of people. It is really cheap and no one is making money out of this alternative. Compare that to the profits made by AstraZeneca et al.
Of course it stands to reason if this was planned you would want, need, to keep a firm hold on the narrative being told.
The endgame? Who has an endgame unless you are a plotter. Those who seek to conspire have an endgame. Which could be, for example, try to convince as many people to take a vaccination as possible.
So, us in the opposition, our endgame is what exactly? The ruling class have used divide and rule for centuries. The British were particularly good at it, as evidenced by the success of their empire. Now, it is the little people like me trying to speak truth who are accused of creating confusion, polarisation and distrust. Well, I guess I admit to the distrust bit. I don't like the polarisation and confusion in society but its not caused by us.
I do not speak my words lightly, nor are they unsupported by years of research and deeper reading than your average Jo due to the work I do writing articles. It is perhaps why I remember the twists and turns of history better than yourself.
Can you see how for people like me reading these words in the Guardian is a bit chilling;
Beyond monitoring and silencing these groups, our strongest weapon is to inoculate the general public against the infodemic by empowering them to spot and report misinformation.
It’s really important that we do everything possible to counter dangerous, frankly life-threatening disinformation about vaccines, he [Starmer] said, urging the PM to pass emergency legislation to combat anti-vaxxer conspiracy theories online.
Meanwhile stating in the same piece that Dr June Raine, chief executive of the MHRA, said;
everyone can be absolutely confident that no corners have been cut "in the approval process."
Taken in by the fraud or willing accomplices? Unless these people face trial we have absolutely no way of knowing.
Anyway here's a few links to history before it disappears down the memory hole.
