The 106th airborne division stormed the important village of Snagost with AFU troops fleeing on mass. In the village of Vishnevka paratroopers knocked the AFU out of the village. The villagers of 10th October and Apanasovka were cleared of enemy troops.
In the Glushkovsky district the following villages were liberated from enemey troops; Gordeevka, Vneszapnowe and Viktorovka. Ukrainian troops also began to flee from Byakhovo as well.
In total, Russian troops have liberated over 125 sq km of territory from Ukrainian occupation. This Russian counter-offensive marks the beginning of the end of Kelensky’s Kursk adventure.
In a desperate move Zelensky launched the invasion of Russia’s Kursk region to create the illusion of progress for the West. Zelensky sacrificed many of his army’s best units in this failed endeavour. To make matters worse, the Ukrainian front lines on the Donetsk front are collapsing as Russian units advance towards the strategic city of Pakrovsk.
The picture is unfolding as I write.
Today, the Russian counter-offensive has continued rolling back Ukrainian troops. The Russian army has destroyed the AFU’s left flank in the Kursk region. It has been reported today that Russian troops have entered Obukhovk.
as above
Ukrainian troops in the Kursk region of Russia are facing disaster. They have not had time to build any fortifications in the territory they have captured plus many AFU units were sent south to try and stem the collapse of the Pakrovsk front in the Donetsk Oblast.
By it’s actions, “Sever” group of Russian troops have created a threat of encirclement for several units of the AFU in the Sudzhansky and Korenevsky districts of the Kursk region.
Meanwhile, in the south Donetsk direction Russian troops have liberated Vodyanoye. To the south Russian troops have also captured coal mine number one as they attack the fortified city of Ugledar from the north.
Today Blinken and Lammy have gone to Kiev to meet Zelensky where the latter will lobby hard for permission to use Western supplied missiles, such as ATACMS/Stormshadow cruise missiles to hit targets deep in Russia. If Ukraine is given permission to do this it will represent a dangerous escalation of this conflict.
