Welcome to Web3!
If there is one thing I appreciate so much about technological advancement, it's Web3. I know it's not yet universally accepted, but just looking at its promising future, one can say it has brought hope for future generations.
Web3 has touched almost every aspect of life, giving humankind freedom of speech, finances, and many more advantages. Just as the Internet came and proved itself worthy of overtaking the universe, Web2 also emerged and made its impact. Now it's Web3.
I can't say much about others, but for the past years since I got familiar with web3 I have got myself so engrossed with it, I have dedicated almost all my time and everything I had into it.
To be candid, there are countless technological advancements in the world today, what can we say about them? Is it the renewable energies, telecommunications, appliances, transportation, and a lot more. The advanced way is appreciated and worth the hype.
I have never had the thought that there will come a time when people will have the ability to send and receive funds in a few seconds without the use of centralized institutions. Just like the banks.
If you think of receiving money from abroad in the past before the advent of web3, you will surely have to go through a hole of stress, questions, and processes before you are granted the funds. That same fund could also be tracked down by those institutions, they can limit and ban transactions as they want, but they're not giving people the freedom to their finances.
Web3 and a decentralized system of finance have made it easier to send and receive without restrictions and even way faster than expected. It has also made it possible to monetize and give value to online content creators. This is the only best way to reward users of any platform that has its members from different parts of the world.
If it were to be a platform that would run on local currencies then surely they won't have access to reward users from different parts of the world. Then it will be kinda hard to bring about the connection that is deserved.
The reason why web2 was able to reach a wider range of people is the fact that it doesn’t reward users but it’s launched on the internet. The internet has already created a wide range and reach to a lot of people. Web2 was just like a better version of it. Then web3 brought everything to light.
There is surely a backside to it, just like there is always a disadvantage and advantage to every other innovation and invention too. But we just have to keep to the side of the advantages more than the disadvantages.
