For me, I think AI was invented to make life easier, relieving human from unnecessary stress that can be executed through the invention of AI.
Growing up, it was all by reading big textbooks or asking learned people the questions I felt confused about and getting answers from them, either the answers are right or not. Later on we learnt about using Google and other search engines and life became easier.
As time goes on, we started getting to know about all other artificial intelligence platforms like Chatgpt, quillbot and dlikes. Meta AI came in as addition and AI was everywhere usable to both literate and illiterates.
Some would make use of AI to edit their pictures, getting a better dress and a better edited face rather than going to a photographer's studio and spending money, so it saves money and time for them.
Most people make use of AI prompt to make research on their projects, generating knowledge rather than visiting libraries as primary or only source of knowledge.
AI has made it easy for most people and has been a best friend. Most bot are functioning well because of AI making users see it as a go-to for their needs pertaining knowledge or task even though some tends to abuse it.
Cons Of AI in society
Nothing would have an advantage and would not probably have it's disadvantages. With the invention of AI, most employees may gradually become jobless as AI is said to be developing to the stage of taking over some roles in the work space. Most employers would gradually see no need in employing humans for doing most of the skills required for their work/businesses aside the critical thinking of strategies aspect that might need human's effort and intervention.
Also, most users of AI are now misusing its purpose, gradually turning themselves into lazy beings of writing themselves, seeking knowledge or doing their tasks. All reliance are now on AI till the extent that some became masters at copying directly what AI gives as answers and pasting it in their projects or assignments without even proofreading for errors or misinformation.
In summary, the main point as of now is that AI innovation may not be capable of replacing jobs or skills that requires extensive man power and labour just like the way we drawing artist hold our brushes to paint something from our imaginary thoughts, or skills like fashion designers and others and it may end up creating more job opportunities for those working in tech department but the fact still remains that it may take jobs from people
So therefore, In as much as the invention of AI is making things easier for the world presently, but I would still support the notion if I'm allowed that AI should be cancelled as most lives who are supposed to be intellectuals are becoming lazy relying on the usage of AI. Employees becoming unemployed in the next few years but that's just an imagination though.
