This week's prompt is about your dream house. Houses serve the function of providing shelter. Houses in this modern age have gone beyond just providing shelter. Modern houses offer a lot of comfort and amenities that make life enjoyable.
There's a mansion close to my area that I admire. The house is owned by a senator in my country. I have never entered into it but fom the outside i can guess its a very good house. The architectural design is wonderful and the painting is a sight to behold. Plus it has a lot of space and modern amenities. That's what I want my dream house to be like or maybe even better.
There are two things I want in my dream house:
First Functionality: I want my dream house to have all the usefulness of a home. I want it to provide comfortable shelter. I want it to have all modern amenities like running water, room-coditioning, a good lighting system, electricity and electrical appliances, etc.
Secondly Aesthetics: That means I want my dream house to be physically attractive. I want the architectural design to be top notch.
To achieve this when building my dream house I plan to hire the best architects and the best structural engineers. And I'm going to pay whatever it'll cost. I want the building to be elegantly structured. I believe the physical look of houses matters.
If it's possible I plan to outsource the building of my house to foreign engineers and architects as I don't trust the ones I have in my country to do the job to my taste.

I'm want the living rooms of my dream house to be spacious and exquisitely furnished. Then I want the kitchens to be well arranged and stocked with all manner of food stuffs, cooking gadgets and utensils. I plan to hire people, house servants to take care of the kitchen and cook the meals.
I want my dream house to possess comfortable rooms where someone can have a good and relaxing rest. I want the beds to be comfortable. There will be very good sound systems and televisions in the rooms and to provide entertainment.
I want my dream house to possess modern conveniences, i.e toilets and bathrooms. I want the conveniences to be functioning effectively and kept clean at at all times.
My dream house will also possess a gym where one can keep fit. A gym stoked with all the equipments. Also it will have a swimming pool and a soccer pitch.
My dream house will also have quarters for housing visitors. The visitors quarters will be well built and well furnished and very comfortable.
It will also possess a spacious garage to house my automobiles and those of my family members.

My dream house will also be well fenced and heavily guarded. I plan to hire well trained security agents to man the gates and keep the entire compound safe from Intruders.
I plan to build this type of house anytime in the near future. I believe by that time I will have the financial capability to do so.
