My web three journey has been a fascinating one so far. Well, I didn’t know what web three was prior to now and to think of the fact that it’s just recently that I am beginning to know that it’s actually called web three of which hive is a part of. Before now, I have heard about crypto and all the drama associated with it but I never knew that I was going to have anything to do with crypto as I don’t really love to meddle in things I don’t understand but here I am, inside the very web, maybe not so deep into it but I love it here.
My web three journey started from what would be a simple chat with a friend on Whatsap whom I saw posting on her Whatsap status about making money through writing and being paid in crypto currency. I was like this people have started again. All these scammers and their strategies. They have evolved. I kept seeing her updates and the more I saw it, the more I was curious. Well, lack of money makes one curious and when you see how you can make money, you would want to dive in.
Initially, I was skeptical but I had to draw closer to understand what she was saying. As I drew closer, she explained more. One of my skepticism was uploading my pictures in a site I didn’t know. I didn’t think I loved the idea but she was like, you post your pictures on Facebook and all and you don’t get money and here you are being skeptical about the one that would give you money. So I had to leave behind my bias, get signed up and that was it. I am glad I finally got onboard web three though.
I wasn’t among those who believed that crypto was a scam but the stories I heard about forex trading and low people loose their money was what made me skeptical at first but when I saw you can start earning without any payment at first, I had to give it a try. And because crypto wasn’t totally accepted in my country. Infact crypto is banned in my country and a lot of people have find their way around it was actually one of the things that made me skeptical joining but when I saw others making the most of it, we have to join the band wagon. Hunger and need to make ends meet is always a motivator.
My web three journey has been ok even though I joined with the utmost enthusiasm to come and pack money from the space 🤣 but deficits not always as we see. Initially it was very challenging as I was making a lot of posts but not getting supports and the thought of the fact that some of my posts paid out with 0:00 gave me PTSD but I heard it’s part of the journey process hence I had to brace myself up and learn one or two things bout the community and with time, things got better. It’s a journey of consistency and I am glad I got to be here. With time and more experience, I know things would be better.
My favorite part of web three is the one I am currently doing which is blogging. I enjoy writing and engaging with others and getting rewards. I am not into the trading part of web three and I don’t have the interest to presently. Maybe with time but until then, my advice to newbies and new web three enthusiasts is to add patience to their enthusiasm. They should also learn to be consistent and not give up when things aren’t going as planned. Web three is a a great place to be in and with time and commitment, things would fall in place.
