Time: A vital factor of life

Hello #scifimultiverse, it is yet another wonderful opportunity to entertain ourselves on this platform. Learn and unlearn while positively impacting the ecosystem.
Mike Okri was a popular Nigerian singer in the late 1980s and early 1990s. His song "Time Na Money" became a hit at that time. This song, “Time Na Money”, has remained classic, with its strong message about valuing time and using it wisely while also reminding people that time is a valuable resource.
True to that song, time is indeed money. It cannot be stopped, replaced or regained. Time is just like oil that spills on the ground; once it is lost, it can’t be recouped, it is gone forever. Every second, minute, hour, day, month and year counts in life. These moments present us with opportunities to grow and become successful. However, while some seize those opportunities to build and become successful, others get entangled with procrastination, waiting for a better time that often never comes, leading to regrets and a blame game.
In May 2025, during one of our online meetings, #Ivyann introduced me to #Hive. Initially, I dismissed it. My past experiences with failed cryptocurrency platforms had made me skeptical. I also saw #Hive as another waste of time. Unfortunately, I procrastinated for over a month, waiting for the “perfect moment” to begin. That moment never came until I finally stopped waiting and made the decision to explore the #Hive platform.
I lost over $20 in that wasted time. Within my sixteen days of joining the #Hive platform, I earned $10 as my estimated account value. This event shaped my way of reasoning and decision-making. What a loss! Presently, the #Hive platform has become my jolly good fellow. I slip into the platform at every given opportunity. This includes during my break time, commuting home and after I am done with my daily task. Most times, late into the night, while preparing for my daily posts.
Time waits for no man. It influences our potential and levels of success at every stage of life, whether as a child, adult or elderly person. Time also plays the role of a revealer. For example, during investigations, some findings and discoveries only emerge with time. Little wonder time management is seen as a key competency for job roles in organisations.
Individuals with time management skills are regarded as organised persons because they plan, manage and prioritise activities to meet set objectives.
In conclusion, Time does not just drive success; it is the healer of wounds; in moments of pain and grief, it brings gradual relief and helps us to move forward. Time is a vital currency in life, #Hivians, invest in time
