If I had magical powers, do you know the first thing I’d do with them? I’d go back in time. Yes, I’d do that without batting an eyelash.
Of all the good things I would have used my magical powers for I chose regaining all the time I have lost. Looking back at all the time and things I would have done makes me sad, hence my choice.
We all have our time but sadly not everyone utilizes the time given to us. After wasting so much precious time we are left with regrets and so many “what-ifs”. We can’t help but think about how we would have done things differently back then and that sucks.
We all have 24hours, I mean that’s the only equal thing we have as humans in this world. While most people use their time effectively to produce tremendous results and celebrate them, some laze around and are left with nothing to show at the end of the day.
Time can be scary, heck it can be fleeting and that’s the the sad reality of life.
It’s impossible to ignore time because it always ends up catching up with you one way or the other. Although time cannot be ignored and nobody can claim to be ignorant of how fast it moves, only a very few percentage of people on earth can truly claim to manage their time perfectly.
A lot of factors get in the way of we not utilizing our time. Factors like: distractions, procrastination, denial, laziness, lack of accountability, and a long list of other factors that hinder us from effectively utilizing our time and this ends up delaying our progress in so many ways.
For some of us, time keeps slipping away, little by little, day by day. We fall into these constant traps of procrastination, denial, indecision, and a lot of distractions. We keep telling ourselves “there’s still time” until we realize that we do not have time.
Procrastination is the ultimate tool of time wastage, I fall victim to constant procrastination too. From time to time, I find myself pushing important things aside simply because I don’t feel ready or motivated at that moment, but I have come to realize that time does not wait for motivation, time only responds to action.

Yes, time can be scary and can make me feel I haven’t done so much, but it can also be beautiful if I choose to use it wisely. At the end of the day, time will either make me regret what I didn’t do or celebrate what I did. So far, I can say that I’ve been using my time wisely compared to before and that’s growth if you ask me.
What about you? What’s your take on the concept of time and how do you effectively utilize it?
I’ll love to read your thoughts in the comment section.
