Hello guys, hope we are all having a lovely and wonderful working week?
Over here in Nigeria, in pidgin we say, 'time na money,' and it simply means time is money. It waits for no one. Anything can happen at any time.
Think of a moment you hold dear like laughing with friends or seeing a sunset. Those times are so full of life, but they fade fast. You may want to keep them, but time does not care. It goes on, taking those times with it. This can make you sad, as if you lost something dear. But it also drives you to live deeply, to feel each joy, love, or pain fully, since you know it won't stay.
I barely recall my mother's hands, hard from years of work, holding mine tight. She would tell my siblings and me tales, and I thought those days would last. But time took her, as it takes all. Now, I wish I'd heard her more, held her close longer.
That’s what time does, it pushes you to prize what you've got while it's there. It's harsh but true, showing that nothing stays.
Time also helps you grow. As a kid, you wish to be grown up, but soon, you are an adult with tasks. You ask, where did the years go? It's simple to lose time worrying or going after things that don't count. But every moment lets you choose love, not anger; hope, not fear; action, not regret.
Yes, time is both a gift and a thief. It lets you make memories, love, and dream. But it also steals them if you don’t act. So, live strong. Say “I love you” today. Go after your dreams now. Time will not wait, but you can make every moment matter. Use your time wisely.
