We forked to put an end to vote selling.
We did it before hive even existed.
We all mostly agreed vote selling is bad.
So, what the hell are you doing delegating for profit?
If you delegate for a return, how do you figure that is any different than selling your vote piecemeal?
Selling your votes for a month, or by the piece, is still selling your vote!
When you pay to rent delegations you disadvantage everybody else with less influence than you.
Newbs the most.
They get pushed down the long tail every time an account with more influence votes.
Either buy more stake, or make do with what you have.
Vote buying and selling has already caused a fork.
Don't engage in the doublethinc!
We are doing much better than when we were on steem.
Many of those actively kneecapping us were forked out.
The median payout is ~.60hbd.
It looks like it is headed down, and I have never seen it above .9hbd.
I would think that ~1hbd is near optimal.
We don't need this to be too easy, but the newbs do need to get their pennies, or they won't stick around to play.
Trending isn't all sycophants of the whales getting payoffs, just mostly squares.

But, there is this big blind spot that nobody seems to be looking at.
If you are delegating for profit are we gonna have to fork you out, too?
If you don't have time to vote your stake responsibly, then leave those rshares idle, all the people you didn't push off the long tail will appreciate it.
If you voted to fork out the vote sellers, and you sell your delegations, wtf are you thinking?
Don't think that I am the only one that has noticed this, suckers are born every minute and those that maximize their roi at the expense of other less influential users know damn well what they are doing and will continue to do it until you notice that the emperor has no clothes and call them out on it.
You can ask @acidyo, I am just a nobody on this chain.
If you were to ask him about yourself, I bet you are, too.
Only people that pad his pocket, or stroke his ego, make it onto his non-nobody radar.
But, as he is 'somebody', you can ask him about the math I just pointed out to you.
IF he is honest, you will confirm what I have just said.
Let's see if he does.
