In the Garden of Crows | A Mixed Media Art Project

For my current mixed media art project, I wanted to share a theme of crows in the garden that I designed. I utilized a variety of art to complete my theme, such as pure fractals, stable diffusion art, and open-sourced images. Together, they create a lovely and serene image, although somewhat dark with an alien undertone.

Below are my steps:

For my diffusion image, I retrieved the design from one of my favorite stable diffusion programs, StarryAI. To use the crow's image, it was necessary to remove the background. I love the stark black of the crow and its defined features. For the eye, I was mildly surprised by the alien imagery it projected.

Other images I included to create an ethereal feel were the pure fractals I created in Apophysis 7X, the advanced version of the fractal rendering program. The emerald fractal gave me the idea for the color theme. Background clouds came courtesy of my design program, Canva. The ropes for the crows to perch were free-sourced images. My pure fractals created a unique background as though the woman was standing in front of a portal.
