In the Heat of the Storm | A Mixed Media Art Project

For my current mixed media art project, my thoughts turned to the dramatic. And what's more dramatic than fire. In this project, it's fiery clouds. However, to exist among the fiery atmosphere, one must be able to withstand immeasurable pain and still maintain one's humanity.

Some would call this the pressures of life. I tend to lean toward stress. How much stress can a person endure? What are their outside or internal stressors that add drama to their lives.

But most importantly, how do they handle the pressures when they do rise?

Below are my steps in designing my project:

For the female image I included in my design, I called up on the stable diffusion program, StarryAI. While I didn't specify the color red for the woman's dress, I did indicate I wanted red eyes. The results were awesome.

Other images I included in my scene were a dramatic background of fiery clouds. You can't tell what is happening in the skyline, but you know it's ominous. The flower I selected to accompany the female was meant to soften the rage. Although the female seems perfectly happy in her surroundings, one can never tell what her internal thoughts are.
