Curso de Arte Conceptual: Lección 6 (Español – Inglés)

Now, we will continue with the sixth lesson of this Conceptual Art Course.
Today, I will deal with: Proportions.
A Proportion is the relationship (by comparison) between two measurements. It can be width and height, two long distances, two different heights because we are working in a 2D space.
The correct analysis of the Angles plus the Proportions will give us the keys to solve each drawing, so that it works and is more real.
The idea is to find, first of all, the Proportions and General Angles of any object or shape, and then to define, more easily, the Proportions and Angles of the details of the drawing.
BASIC PROCEDURE:
The first thing to do is to create a frame of the General Proportion, then draw the Main Angles.

We'll do internal subdivisions to find the angles, but it will only work if the Proportions are correct.
To help us draw easier, we look for Reference Points.
Determining the Proportions and Angles will allow us to have more control over the drawing.

We should not draw our drawing on the photo but to the side. What we want is to learn to draw with confidence, not to trace.
Artistic drawing requires many hours of dedication. There are no shortcuts.
Only continuous and prolonged practice will give the results we expect.
The work I am presenting today is an Advanced Copy, starting from the Proportions and Angles generation procedure.
To carry out the tasks in this course, I recommend using free downloadable photographs (without copyright), obtained from web pages such as https://www.pexels.com/ https://pixabay.com/ https://unsplash.com/ and other similar ones, as they have an immense amount of images and are of great quality.
STEP 1: Download a royalty-free image that you like and place it on a blank canvas in Photoshop on the left-hand side.
STEP 2: We will create a frame of the General Proportion.
STEP 3: Duplicate the Overhead frame to the right of the photo.
STEP 4: We will make internal subdivisions in the photo to find the Angles, for which we select the Reference Points we need.
STEP N° 5: We will draw lines and compare proportions, distances, and angles, from the reference points, for as long as the drawing lasts. This is the only way we will have an adequate result equal to the photo.
These tasks were done in Photoshop 2017 with my Star 03 V2 XP-PEN Graphic Tablet.

Hoy, trataré lo relacionado con: Las Proporciones.
Una Proporción es la relación (por comparación) entre dos medidas. Puede ser ancho y alto, dos distancias largas, dos alturas diferentes, debido a que estamos trabajando en un espacio 2D.
El análisis correcto de las Ángulos más las Proporciones nos dará las claves para resolver cada dibujo, de manera que funcione y sea más real.
La idea es buscar, en primer lugar, las Proporciones y los Ángulos Generales de cualquier objeto o forma, para luego, definir, con mayor facilidad, las Proporciones y los Ángulos de los detalles del dibujo.
PROCEDIMIENTO BÁSICO:
Lo primero que debemos hacer es crear un cuadro o marco de la Proporción General, luego trazaremos los Ángulos Principales.

Haremos subdivisiones internas para buscar los ángulos, pero solo va a funcionar si las Proporciones son correctas.
Para ayudarnos a dibujar más fácil, buscamos Puntos de Referencia.
Determinar las Proporciones y los Ángulos nos permitirá tener un mayor control sobre el dibujo.

No debemos trazar nuestro dibujo sobre la foto, sino a un lado. Lo que queremos es aprender a dibujar con confianza, no a calcar.
El dibujo artístico requiere de muchas horas de dedicación. No tiene atajos.
Solo la práctica continua y prolongada dará los resultados que esperamos.
El trabajo que hoy presento es una Copia Avanzada, partiendo del procedimiento de generación de Proporciones y Ángulos.
Para efectuar las tareas de este curso, recomiendo utilizar fotografías de descarga gratuita (sin derechos de autor), obtenidas de páginas web, tales como: https://www.pexels.com/ https://pixabay.com/ https://unsplash.com/ y otras similares, ya que tienen una inmensa cantidad de imágenes y son de gran calidad.
PASO N° 1: Descargaremos una imagen libre de derechos de autor, que nos agrade, y la colocaremos en un lienzo en blanco en Photoshop del lado izquierdo.
PASO N° 2: Crearemos un cuadro o marco de la Proporción General.
PASO N° 3: Duplicaremos el marco de la Proporción General a la derecha de la foto.
PASO N° 4: Haremos subdivisiones internas en la foto para buscar los Ángulos, para lo cual seleccionamos los Puntos de Referencia que necesitemos.
PASO N° 5: Trazaremos líneas y compararemos proporciones, distancias y ángulos, desde los puntos de referencia, todo el tiempo que dure el dibujo. Solo así tendremos un resultado adecuado e igual a la foto.
Estas tareas fueron realizadas en Photoshop 2017 con mi Tableta Gráfica Star 03 V2 XP-PEN.
