Mi Arte Digital | Una Noche en la Jungla (Español – Inglés)

For today, I offer you a Digital Painting made in Adobe Photoshop CC 2017.
The theme I chose for this enlightened day is A Night in the Jungle.
I made this painting with the purpose of presenting the first part of my end-of-course work of Color Theory and How to Apply it to my Digital Works.
To make this work I followed the topics studied during the course, which include: Composition, Harmony, Balance and Color.
To execute the assigned task I decided to capture a scene in which the Focal Point is a little mouse hidden in a big flower, which is being watched by a black panther from some cliffs.
The atmosphere is nocturnal, it is cold, the high mountains have a strip covered with mist. The dew creates water droplets that fall from the leaves of the trees.
The technique used involves the creation of drawings in grayscale, and then converting them to color, respecting the original lighting values.
But, in addition, it is necessary to include the knowledge learned about Contrasts of various types that support a narrative, which brings, as a consequence, that each image tells a story without words.
It took me several days to make this painting because I had to practice many times, correcting, redoing, and redrawing everything, several times, until I managed to apply the techniques learned, with some confidence.
I know it has many mistakes, and the interesting thing is that the teacher of the course, as well as other students, will help me to find the mistakes to correct them and improve my skills.
Below, I exhibit the sequence of images that demonstrates the "Step by Step " process of creating my Digital Painting of A Night in the Jungle.
To make this work, I started from a sketch I made in Photoshop with my Star 03 V2 XP-PEN Graphic Tablet.

Para hoy, les ofrezco una Pintura Digital realizada en Adobe Photoshop CC 2017.
El tema que escogí para este iluminado día es Una noche en la Jungla.
Hice esta pintura con la finalidad de presentar la primer parte de mi trabajo de fin de curso de Teoría del Color y Cómo Aplicarla a mis Obras Digitales.
Para realizar este trabajo seguí los temas estudiados durante el curso, que incluyen: Composición, Armonía, Equilibrio y Color.
Para ejecutar la tarea asignada decidí plasmar una escena en la cual el Punto Focal es un ratoncito escondido en una gran flor, el cual está siendo observado por una pantera negra desde unos riscos.
El ambiente es nocturno, hace frío, las altas montañas tienen una franja cubierta de neblina. El rocío crea gotas de agua que caen de las hojas de los árboles.
La técnica utilizada implica la creación de dibujos en escala de grises, para luego pasarlos a colores, respetando los valores de iluminación originales.
Pero, además, hay que incluir los conocimientos aprendidos sobre Contrastes de diversos tipos que apoyen una narrativa, lo que trae, como consecuencia, que cada imagen cuente una historia sin palabras.
Realizar esta pintura me llevó varios días, pues debí practicar muchas veces, corregir, rehacer y redibujar todo, varias veces, hasta que conseguí aplicar las técnicas cursadas, con cierta confianza.
Sé que tiene muchos errores, y lo interesante es que el profesor del curso, así como otros estudiantes me ayudarán a encontrar los errores para corregirlos y mejorar mis habilidades.
A continuación, exhibo la secuencia de imágenes que demuestra el proceso “Paso a Paso”, de la creación de mi Pintura Digital de Una Noche en la Selva.
Para realizar este trabajo, partí de un boceto que hice en Photoshop con mi Tableta Gráfica Star 03 V2 XP-PEN.
