Hello to all members of this community and art lovers! This post covers what would be the second exhibition of the visual artist Daniel González, which was on display at the Museo de Bellas Artes de Caracas. I already talked about the first exhibition The Necessary Creation , which was a set of photographs where Daniel's passion for photography as a documentary element could be appreciated. In the next room, there was "Hombre Orinoco", where I appreciated the draftsman facet of this renowned Venezuelan artist.

When I entered that room, I remember being impressed by those drawings, and my first thought was that it looked like an exhibition based on hell. I don't say that in a negative way; rather, the first thing that came to mind when I saw those abstract figures were monsters or creatures from nightmares or from an insane mind. I thought that was wonderful. I did notice that some of the attendees didn't stay in the room for long; they simply skimmed the drawings and moved on. They probably thought they were "pure doodles," since not everyone appreciates the beauty of abstraction.

I'm no expert, nor do I have much knowledge on the subject, but I really enjoy taking the time to look at these types of works and find my own interpretations. So, when I got rid of that feeling of "fear" when faced with the figures that initially seemed grim, I began to see everything from a different perspective. Suddenly, the lines didn't seem so hostile, and I marveled at the way they intertwined with each other and gave the impression of being one figure or another, only to eventually merge into a whole and become part of a much more striking and intriguing figure.

Using ink and various materials, Daniel achieves a fascinating interweaving of lines. I've always been drawn to drawings with an oversaturation of lines and objects, so I was fascinated by the fact that each drawing resembled the other, yet at the same time, was completely different. Such meticulous and fascinating work is worthy of admiration. After reading a bit of the information displayed in the gallery, I realized the artist's inclination toward the esoteric, which led me to understand this exhibition much more, as spiritual people tend to be more sensitive than others, and when combined with the fact that they are visual artists, they can convey this very subtle world through metaphor in their work.

Finally, on one wall were also some drawings by Daniel that, as I understood, were oil-inspired figures from a previous exhibition where the artist also made some sculptures from recycled materials. This exhibition helped me learn much more about the artistic movement in my country and has motivated me to continue my own research.

¡Hola a todos los integrantes de esta comunidad y amantes del arte! Este post abarca lo que sería la segunda exposición del artista plástico Daniel González, la cual se hallaba exhibida en el Museo de Bellas Artes de Caracas. Ya hablé de la primera exposición la creación necesaria , la cual se trataba de un conjunto de fotografías en donde se podía apreciar la pasión de Daniel por la fotografía como elemento documentario. En la siguiente sala, se encontraba "HombreOrinoco", en donde aprecié la faceta como dibujante de éste reconocido artista venezolano.

Cuando ingresé en aquella sala, recuerdo que me impresionó ver aquellos dibujos y recuerdo que lo primero que pensé, era que parecía una exposición basada en el inferno. Pero no lo digo en forma negativa, sino porque lo primero que me vino a la mente al ver esas figuras abstractas, fueron monstruos o criaturas propias de las pesadillas o de una mente insana. Eso me pareció maravilloso. Si noté que algunos de los asistentes no permanecían mucho tiempo en la sala, simplemente veían por encima los dibujos y pasaban de largo. Seguro pensaban que se trataban de "puros garabatos", ya que no todos aprecian la belleza de lo abstracto.

No soy una experta en ello y tampoco tengo conocimiento sobre el tema, pero me gusta mucho tomarme la labor de contemplar este tipo de obras y hallar mi propia interpretación. De modo que, cuando me deshice de esa sensación de "temor", ante las figuras que al principio, me parecían tétricas, comencé a ver todo desde una perspectiva diferente. De pronto las líneas, no se me hacían tan hostiles y me maravillaban por el modo en que las mismas se entrelazaban entre sí y daban la sensación de ser una figura u otra, para al final, unirse a un conjunto y volverse parte de una figura mucho más llamativa e intrigante.

A través de la tinta y materiales diversos, Daniel logra un entramado de líneas fascinante. Siempre me han llamado la atención los dibujos en los que hay una sobresaturación de líneas y objetos, así que quedé fascinada con el hecho de que cada dibujo se parecía a otro, pero al mismo tiempo, era completamente diferentes. Un trabajo tan minucioso y fascinante, es digno de admirar. Tras leer un poco la información dispuesta en la sala, me hallé con la inclinación del artista hacia lo esotérico, eso me llevó a comprender mucho más esta exposición, pues las personas espirituales suele ser más sensibles que el resto y si sumado, son artistas plásticos, pueden llegar a mostrar a través de una metáfora en su trabajo, ese mundo tan sutil.

Para finalizar, en una pared se hallaban también unos dibujos de Daniel que según comprendí, se tratan de figuras inspiradas en el petróleo, pertenecientes a una exposición de antaño en donde el artista elaboró también algunas esculturas con material reciclado. Esta exposición me sirvió para conocer mucho más sobre el movimiento artístico en mi país y me ha motivado a continuar investigando por mi propio interés.
