Though I have a set routine and habit, sometimes when motivation isn’t just there, it’s really hard to get back up and do things. I learned from my previous life that motivation alone isn’t enough. I also heard that from a lot of people into self-improvement and I proved it right.

Relying on motivation, chasing perfection, aren’t enough to get to where I wanted to be and even maintaining habits. Recently, I made a challenge to myself to write 1 movie review a day. It really is not that easy but I did it. If it were my old self, I would procrastinate a lot and eventually not get things done because I wanted to write the perfect film review there is. But since now it doesn’t align with my goal where I want to review 1 film a day, I decided to just write as is. The film of my choices can be random and if it were me in the past, I would want them to be perfectly connecting them from one another. It also has to be uploaded at a certain time just so they’re always on time and perfect. However, I have met with hiccups here and there from the last 2 days and especially something that has to do with my motivation. While my motivation wasn’t there, I still persist to do my routine. There were also a lot more distractions here and there but eventually, I won!

It’s probably weird that I should be in the phase of life where I have these figured out and know when to hustle and when to rest. But here I am ! figuring things out once again and improving myself to become a better person. Another thing I learned from this life is to never stop trying. When you’re deep in the darkness and when you think like there’s no way out, Just keep trying and see through it. That’s what got me to survive till this day.
