Greetings, everybody
This is my entrances to @zord189's #HiveCreativeContestcontest. Details Here.
As I brainstormed to write this post, I realized that, more than concrete plans of pending things to do before kicking the bucket. All the items in my list were wishes of things I hope happen before I die. All of them are related to our current political and economic situation, which affects and conditions everything else in our lives.
I would like to be woken up one day by the pandemonium of a freedom parade. The joy of knowing that the socialist curse is over and all its minions are behind bars paying for all the damage, pain and suffering they’ve caused. But, as I said at the beginning, that’s more wishful thinking than a concrete plan to be carried out.
In any case, I am going to list some things I’d like to do and places I’d like to visit, if I could, before I die.

- Road trip. For years I’ve dreamed of the idea of a road trip around Venezuela. In 47 years of life I have not had the chance of knowing the whole country. I probably know ¼ of its territory and most of it in passing. I’d love to be able to visit every single state and as many towns along the way as possible. Venezuela has so many natural wonders; places we can only dream about and which we have been boasting about for decades because allegedly that made us the most beautiful country in the world, but all those places we can’t even afford to visit. I’d love to see Salto Angel, the tallest waterfall in the world.
Source - Family time in new places. Along those lines, I’d love to take m family with me, especially my mother, wife, and daughters. For over ten years, we have not been able to do anything like traveling to a touristic destination, staying at a hotel, relaxing, and having fun. I’d love to give my mother, who is already 80 and whose health is declining every day, the chance to enjoy those little perks of life.
3 Romance. It’s been a while since my wife and I enjoyed a dinner or dancing night together. I’d love to give her that gift. A romantic dinner, followed by dancing, a couple of drinks, sleeping to the rhythm of the waves, and waking up by the sea.

4 Hug my children. I’d love to hug again my two children who left the country. José Andrés who is in Lima, Peru and my grandchild, José Miguel (more than two years ago already), and Vivian who is in Brazil. Seeing them again, touching them, seeing them smile, knowing they are doing well, would surely give me some comfort and a lot of joy.

Thanks for your visit
