Such disgusting weather has been around for a long time, the rain is pouring outside, there are poor light conditions inside. That’s a reason I shouldn’t put my feet out of home and create beautiful but useless things.
It all started with a junk embroidery frame and a piece of rawhide cut into a circle that looked to be too small for the frame. Well, what can I do now?
I pierced the edge of the leather in a circle while it was still wet and stretched it with a strong leather sewing thread on the frame, tightening it well. By the time it dried, the frame had become like a bad bike wheel. I love the "sign of infinity", as does the Möbius strip and its companions, but not in that form.
But now I didn’t care about it, I thought that after painting, if it dries, I take it off and thread it again, in a looser condition, as you'll see it bellow.
Painting is full of pleasure for me, it’s usually hard to stop, just like drawing and dotting with white felt-tip pens.
By the time I was done with the dots, the frame was so deceiving that I was a little discouraged. No problem, I said to myself, I'll solve it, I only have to solve the feathered hangers first.
I took out my pearls and the pheasant feathers I had bought before, and then came the nerve-grinding job.
I will tell you that beading and working with thin threads and needles is not my strength. What’s more, I hate it, but really!
I could only thread into the needle at the cost of great torment, and those little bastard beads got stuck in the needle bar.
Meanwhile, the thread that stretched the skin was released (I am also an antitalent in knot bonding), and the finished hangers were also unfolded, the beads rolled out.
In the meantime, I cursed, wishing the manufacturer of beads and thread to hell.
Somehow, though, by a miracle, I was able to continue, but an hour later when I calmed down.
At last, I stretched the leather again, and fixed the hangers.
I’m already proud of the result, but not the photo itself. If the sun shines again, I will have more beautiful photos of it.
