Some of us are having a lazy Sunday, hubby and the pups are enjoying catching up on some sleep whilst me and Nichola keep on top of the house cooking and cleaning. I did manage to have a little lie in after i came downstairs to make hubby's breakfast, once he was fed i went back to bed and Nichola took over. When i woke up i put hubby in the shower and changed his clothes, i also had to change the wound covering.
I think the shower worn him out, he fell asleep whilst we were watching a film.

Hi neck is going to hurt when he wakes up. He hasn't slept well since his operation, i let him nap but don't want him staying asleep as he won't sleep tonight, OMG I HAVE TURNED INTO HIS MUM.
Whilst hubby lept the 3 pups decided to have a sleep to, was just me awake watching TV. They were all cuddled up looking cosy. Its hectic when they are awake, they don't understand why they can't sit on their dads knee, they are taking there times trying to jump on his knee. They are allowed to sleep at his side, they think they have done something wrong.

We usually have a Sunday lunch which hubby usually makes, Roast Chicken, Roast Pots, Roast Parsnips, Yorkshire puddings with Vegetables but this Sunday me and Nichola are cooking it so we are having Vegetarian Sausages, Beans on toast topped with fried eggs and grated cheese.

We are doing what we can without putting to much pressure on each other. easy meals means easy tidying up keeping on top of things. He is becoming restless as he can't do anything, he has to keep asking us for everything he needs. He is moving a lot better, his walking is better and he an move on the sofa with wincing in pain. He has another 7 days before he gets his staples removed, he will feel a lot better once they are out, even though he can't do anything he will be able to walk more so he can go on short walks with the dogs, Nichola will have to hold the dogs and do all the work still, the walking and fresh air will do him good and help him sleep at night.
It's very strange at the moment going to bed as hubby sleeps downstairs and i take the 3 pups to bed with me, it's weird not having to listen to his snoring for hours or having to sleep on the edge of the bed, i have so much room as do the pups. Once this is all over i am going to find it hard sleeping with him again. He won't be able to move back to our bed for at least 6 weeks, we don't want the dogs jumping on him and causing more problems. The longer he gets leaving the wounded area alone the mesh that has been fixed to make a wall in between his intestines coming through the lining. The mesh will take time to knit and the longer it gets the stronger it will be.
Another day is nearly done and we have survived so far. I have my stubborn head on and not going to give into my own pain, i will have to at one point but will go for as long as i can..
