It's not your fault...
Yeah, because why don't I put a random reference in. Typical for my though process. Or lack of such. It's also like a sort of meditation.
Hey, this place is suitable for meditation! maybe not right on the path but beside it. I am sure people have even done it there. That's the more Hippy beach. Fans of exotic cultures and practitioners of exotic...culturalisms...there aplenty.
Double exposure of a colorful and a black&white image.
Both originals taken with the same lens, a 70-200 mm zoom lens. One of them is a bit closer than the other but from the same angle which is one of the best angles to depict the curve and catch the reflected sunlight on the wooden boards. near sunset when most people are leaving the beach. Some are going for a walk while there's still light, though.
I needed the blending in order to make the people even more unrecognizable on the one hand, and to try and showcase the spirit of the path itself on the other. It's the hero of the story, after all. The rest are...the support crew.
Let them dissolve into the air, let them leave blurry imprints on the path, let them leave pieces of their souls upon it. As I did.
By the way, the spirit of that path is almost invisible. While traversing it, one thinks of the ease it gives but also of the long and tough terrain beyond it. In both directions. People are often too tired to feel one with it. To think of it as a purpose. Their other purposes weigh too heavily.
Peace!
