This is my response to @jaynie's My first ever HIVE BLOG POST challenge.
My first ever Hive blog post, other than my initial #introduceyourself post, was:
A Bullet Journal Beginning
Posted on 14th August, 2016
I remember taking the photographs for the article. It was a perfect September Spring day and I'd gone outside to sit on a picnic blanket in a shady part of the yard. Eddie the dog was with me and was extremely intrigued why I was stacking up all these books in the grass!
The blog post talks about my bullet journal. I'd started bullet journaling not long prior and had discovered the most freeing part for me was being able to condense my planner, journal, and notebook down into one book with an organised system for locating my notes. The post also provides links to a few bullet journal resources.
One of the cool things about revisiting this post is that I'm still using pretty much the same bullet journal system today. Between discovering bullet journaling and taking part in #onebookjuly that year, I became a convert to the single notebook movement.
At the time I thought I'd write a lot more posts about journaling and that would be my niche on the blockchain, but so far there's only been a handful. Perhaps it's time to revisit this topic?
Sadly, the authors of two articles I link to at the end of the article are no longer active here - one had a single post in 2016 and then no more, the other stopped posting in 2017.
Until next time,
@Sammie
