Hi hivers everyone, good morning to all of you, I hope you are always healthy, this morning I want to share a post about cayenne pepper seeds which have now reached the time to be moved from the seeding place into small pots so they can be immediately planted in the ground .
Cayenne pepper currently has a fairly high price, per kilo of it today it can reach 45,000 rupiah or the equivalent of 3,500 Hive dollars. This is not the peak price because usually the price can reach 60,000 Rupiah per kilo, and because we have just passed the rainy season, the price has dropped from the peak price.
I transferred the seeds into a glass aqua bottle which I had filled with soil so I wanted to plant around 400 chili plants this time, and the planting location was also only around the yard of the house so that I had more freedom to always be able to control the current conditions of the house. The chili plants that I planted are sprinkled and I can also water them in the afternoon and morning so that the plant roots don't dry out and cause them to die.
Not only that, I have also carried out an experiment with transplanting directly onto the ground to see the level of survival of these chili seeds if they are planted directly on the ground without using an aqua bottle as a medium to make the plants grow a little bigger.
I only carried out this experiment for about 10 cayenne pepper seedlings because I was curious about the growth process and I wanted to compare between using bottles or planting directly, which would enter the growth process more quickly.
I have given this land my own fertilizer which I processed using cow dung and some dry leaves which I fermented for two weeks as experimental material for planting these small chili seeds.
