Hello Hive
The rice transplanting time we all have been waiting for has finally come. Before transplanting Rice we often ensure that we are through with all the other propagation methods such as the direct planting into the soil so that those other grains can germinate and continue to grow while this seedlings are being transplanted.
The rice planted and the Seedlings to be transplanted from this moments must all grow together and produce grains at about the same time. It is a good practice to time both planted rice and the ones in nursery such they they all can produce at the same time. If one happens to grow late, the wether condition may not be favorable for it to produce well when it gets ready for seed production phase.
According to the weather condition for this place the most appropriate timing for planting our rice is from the month of June through to August. At most the first week of August we must all be done with planting or grains. This timing is different from those of other farmers in another state.
Another reasons we love to have our planted rice done at thesame period is so that proper care can be giving to all the plants at the same time. It makes it easy to do so when all the plants are at thesame level of growth.
We can monitor their growth process and be on the lookout for poor performing fields that may require some fertilizer to enhance its growth.
Not all our farms are fertile and left to some portions of our farm they won't produce any grains if they don't get adequate care and attention. Due to unavailability of lands for farming around this place we tend to utilize every available location to grow our foods.
The seedlings in nursery are ready for transplanting.
Daddy has applied herbicides to all the grass filled fields, we have done with majority of our plantings and the next task is for us to transplant these seedlings into their appropriate fields.
