Hello Hive
A happy new day to everyone I hope that we are having a great time and enjoying some good weather.
This is one of the things that delights me the most, to see any of our crops flourishing well.
I have always had a dream of growing fruits trees within my home and if it were possible for me to own a small property of my own with some surrounding land for growing vegetables and fruit tress I will be more than satisfied.
I trust that you must have seen some of the meadows with a small in the midst of it and most times surrounded by green veggies and flower that is the kind of settings I am talking about.
Right here where I live and even though it is a rented house I am carefully growing some fruit tress on the small available compound. These are tress that won't spread so much branches to irritate the property owner. Tall growing tress like pawpaw and my guava here are perfect
Now the guava is at its seed production phase and I am so surprised at how fast that is happening . It's been 3years I moved into the house and this was barely germinated and growing from the soil at about that time
I have noticed this seed production and growth progress about two weeks ago almost thinking that it will take a longer while before the plant starts producing this.
Growing this guava tree has been the easiest of task, at its tender age we ensured adequate weeding continuously which didn't affect the tree or the orange tree beside it.
I haven't used any fertilizer for this meaning that on a good soil these fruits tress do not need much attention to do well. We have once had some pawpaw farm where we harvested pawpaw tress consistently for ourselves and neighbors. It's not a bad idea to have some green plants besides the house.
Vegetables, flowers and green plants will contribute to the quality of air in any environment filtering our excess Carbondioxide from the atmosphere, this is one of the reasons why we are encouraged to not just grow trees or veggies for food but for the benefits of our environment as well. Within the week I should source for some pawpaw seeds to plant which doesn't take even a year to start producing fruits and hopefully before the year runs out we will have some fruits for harvest right here in our home.
