Hello Hive
Its a herbicide application day and myself and daddy are at it already.
Like I said earlier that our rice field is quite large and we are picking and working on various portions of the farm per time
We had to work on the farms in portions for various reasons.
If we decide to fleet the farms at once while working on some portions pet time the other parts left to be worked on will regrow weeds before we finally get to work on then and this will cost us extra finance to purchase more chemicals and fleet the farm one more time before we finally work on them.
Here is the remaining portion of our rice fields that needs to be work on. We have progressed with work on the other portions. Having planted some fields, cultivation is going on on some parts that we will be transplanting our nursed rice grains on.
Most of the time I have to accompany Daddy to farm to monitor the process. I have been the one selecting the most appropriate chemicals he can use that will be both less hazardous to the health and the environment.
There are different kinds of the chemicals with some instructions on their plastic body and a little book knowledge often gives me a guide on which chemicals to use for which crop or weed types.
Daddy is often very stubborn and refuses to use a nose mask or any protective measure. I'm just glad that he uses a boot 👢 👢 👢 👢 for his legs inside this thick bushy swamp. This is very a important protection equipment as often times there are filarial worms in the water in company of snakes and other dangerous animals.
It will take at least 2weeks before we begin to see the effective work of the herbicides in our farm. After then we will now decide on weather we are going to be planting, transplanting or adopting another some other methods of propagation for our rice
