Blessings dear community @ChristianFellowship, it is nice to be here, the peace of God be with everyone
Plato once said: "Friendship is a reciprocal predisposition that makes two beings equally jealous for the happiness of the other!"
In particular, I find this definition of friendship absolutely beautiful! One takes care of the happiness and well-being of the other. Friends are precious jewels and when stored in the chest of our hearts they form a precious treasure. Talking about friends brings memories and joy to the heart. When we look back, we realize that friends have always played a critical role in our lives. In some cases, we even thought that we would not have been able to go through a difficult phase if it had not been for the friends who extended their hands to us. However, no matter how much a friend has a special place in our hearts and no matter how much he has helped us, he will never be able to satisfy the deep needs of our soul, after all, none of us is able to calm anyone's agitation. There is only one person who can be everything to everyone. There is only one person who is available at any time of the day and night and who will never let us down. You know I'm referring to Jesus!
Jesus was always an excellent friend! He gave the best of his friends here in the world. He did things that no one else could do: He shared all the truth that he received from God the Father. He taught, counseled, cured, listened to people's problems, invested time in relationships, and showed true and unconditional love for children, men and women, the poor. , rich, sick and healthy. They were all targets of your love. And about love, he declared in John 15:13 that "No one has greater love than he who lays down his life for his friends!" Shortly after declaring this, Jesus gave his own life on the cross to pay for our mistakes. And you know what? It did not stop there. Today he is at the right hand of God interceding on our behalf.
Is it not surprising to think that when any accusation against us reaches the ears of God, Jesus, our friend, defends us and justifies us? Furthermore, in Hebrews we read that due to the death of Jesus on our behalf, we can approach God with confidence to receive mercy and grace, love and, above all, forgiveness for the faulty acts we do in each day of our lives.
Jesus relates to us and offers us the best. Forgiveness, peace, direction, wisdom, comfort, unconditional love and above all eternal life. We can talk to him through prayer and we can read the love letter that God has written to us, which is his word. Do you already know my friend Jesus as your savior and friend? He is the best friend we can have in life. So, walk very close to him, listen to his voice and always follow him. We can trust him!
