A good month of working out

April, 2022, is in the books and I lifted almost 210,000 pounds on Tonal and completed 62 workouts. I spent more time working out off Tonal this month and gave my body and muscles a bit more time to heal and grow between my different workout programs. Overall, it was a really good month and I feel a lot stronger after giving my body time to recover a bit with some body weight exercises.

My strength score is up a little over 100 points overall from where I was at the end of March.

The coolest part of all of this is that my leg strength has increased 106% since I started working out with Tonal in December. It is crazy how fast I was able to double my lower body strength.
When I was working out at the gyms and stuff before I got the Tonal, I wasn't able to lift heavy with my legs because of my back and knee pain, but those pains are virtually gone all together now and my back and knees are stronger than they have ever been. Today's workout was a heavy leg day, and I was busting out reps of front squats with more weight than I used to even be able to do one rep with.

My core strength is up only about 54% more than when I started, but that is because a lot of the programs I am doing don't have a lot of core exercises in them, so I am going to need to incorporate some more core workouts in my routine to bump those scores up.

My upper body score has always been higher than everything else, but things are starting to get extremely heavy during the workouts, so I am wondering if my score will slow down at all and let the other body regions catch up or not.

This past month, I have been consistently in the top 100 out of all Tonal users. The score on the leaderboard takes into account how many consecutive days you workout and the time that you spent working out throughout the month. It is pretty cool to know that I am getting the most out of my investment with the Tonal and putting in the work to get some real change in my body.
Since I started working out, I have lost around 15 pounds on the scale, but I have lost a lot more than just 15 pounds of fat because I have put on a ton of muscle. Maybe one of these days, I will post some progress pictures of myself, because the change has been pretty crazy.
One of the best things my wife and I have done for our bodies as we work out consistently with Tonal is the incorporate recovery and mobility workouts into our routines. I have even started doing meditation and yoga, which has been pretty cool to see how I am getting more control over my mind and body.
When I would do yoga before the Tonal, I had the hardest time holding some of the different poses, but now I am able to hold pretty much any of the poses and feel stable while doing it.
The Tonal has been life changing for my family and I can't wait to see where we are by the end of the year. I am hoping to have a strength score of at least 1500 by the end of the year. Fitness is a journey and I can't wait to see where it takes me.
