My progress with the Rebellion reward cards/Mi progreso con las cartas rewards Rebellion
I started late in the race to get the largest amount of Rebellion reward cards because my attention was focused on farming the glints needed to buy the epic title in the store and it has been in the last quarter that I have been directly buying the cards in the store, focusing for now on having the common and rare cards that until now I am already taking them to the level of the silver league.
Comencé tardíamente la carrera con hacerme con la mayor cantidad de cartas rewards Rebellion porque mi atención estaba enfocada en farmear los glints necesarios para comprar el título épico en la tienda y ha sido en el último trimestre que he estado comprando directamente las cartas en la tienda, enfocándome por ahora en tener las cartas comunes y raras que hasta ahora ya las estoy llevando al nivel de la liga de plata.

In this context and continuing with this series I share with you the second part of the new reward monsters of the Rebellion edition, in this particular case we will see the fire and earth classes which have had 2 additions of melee attacks that include new skills for the design and more options at the time of a battle, let's begin!
En este contexto y dándole continuidad a esta serie les comparto la segunda parte de los nuevos monstruos rewards de la edición Rebellion, en este caso particular veremos las clases de fuego y tierra los cuales han tenido 2 incorporaciones de ataques melé que incluyen habilidades nuevas para el diseño más opciones a la hora de una batalla, comencemos!
⚔️1st Battle/1era Batalla: Drybone Megaloson & Flank Skill⚔️

For this battle we will only have 2 splinters: fire and life, using even cards, which reduces the cards available to build a deck, but this is compensated by the rule that allows us to summon a gladius card. These conditions allow us to evaluate for the first time a card that the fire class has long needed: Drybone Megalodon, this tank has an ability called Flank that allows any card with a melee attack to attack from the second position, we will combine it with a gladius card to see its potential.
Para esta batalla solo dispondremos de 2 splinters: fuego y vida, uso de cartas pares lo que reduce las cartas disponibles para armar un mazo pero esto se compensa con la regla que nos permite invocar una carta gladius. Estas condiciones nos permiten evaluar por primera vez una carta que desde hace mucho necesitaba la clase fuego: Drybone Megalodon, este tanque cuenta con una habilidad llamada Flank y que le permite a cualquier carta con ataque melé atacar desde la segunda posición, la combinaremos con una carta gladius para ver su potencial.

🧙 Summoner/ Invocador: Conqueror Jacek
I like this legendary summoner for the high speed that he gives to units and also for imbuing them with the Piercing ability, this allows us to use units with high damage and we will not have to worry about the defense of our enemies since they will be able to pierce them, the only disadvantage is the scatter shot ability but in this case the strong point of my strategy depends on melee units, range units will help eventually but I am more interested in their support abilities.
Este invocador legendario me gusta por la alta velocidad que le imprime a las unidades y también por imbuirlos con la habilidad Piercing, esto nos permite utilizar unidades con altas cotas de daño y no tendremos que preocuparnos por la defensa de nuestros enemigos ya que serán capaces de atravesarlos, la única desventaja es la habilidad scatter shot pero en este caso el punto fuerte de mi estrategia depende de unidades melé, las unidades rango ayudarán eventualmente pero me interesan más sus habilidades de apoyo.
🎴 Drybone Megalodon
I waited a long time to finally get this card to level 3 but it's enough to use it in the gold league. The importance of this card stands out in its Flank ability that allows me to place any melee unit in the second position and it will gain the reach ability and therefore can attack from the second row.
Esperé mucho tiempo para finalmente llevar esta carta a nivel 3 pero es suficiente para usarlo en la liga de oro. La importancia de esta carta destaca en su habilidad Flank que me permite ubicar cualquier unidad melé en la segunda posición y ganará la habilidad reach y portanto podrá atacar desde la segunda fila.
🎴 Tatiana Blayde
Knowing that we can use any card with a melee attack, we will take advantage of the fact that it is possible to use a Gladius card to place one of the most powerful in my opinion: Tatiana Blayde, with her combined attack we can do 2 things, the first is to melee attack the tank and second, her ranged attack can be directed at any unit. If we are lucky and it eliminates a target, this card will become stronger and more effective at eliminating other units.
Sabiendo que podemos usar cualquier carta con ataque melé aprovecharemos que es posible usar una carta Gladius para colocar una de las más potentes a mi juicio: Tatiana Blayde, con su ataque combinado podemos hacer 2 cosas, la primera atacar melé al tanque y segundo, su ataque rango puede dirigirse a cualquier unidad. Si tenemos suerte y elimina algún objetivo esta carta se hará más fuerte y eficaz eliminando otras unidades.
🎴 Drybone Raider
The next unit is another member of the Drybone clan, although it has a combined attack, we will use this card for ranged attacks randomly, as it can execute it twice, this helps us to weaken the enemy lineup in several points.
La siguiente unidad es otro miembro del clan Drybone, aunque tiene ataque combinado usaremos esta carta para los ataques rango de forma aleatoria, como puede ejecutarlo 2 veces esto nos ayuda a debilitar en varios puntos la alineación enemiga.
🎴 Doctor Blight
Dr. Blight is the unit par excellence if we want to poison or afflict our enemy and although it has the lowest speed of our lineup, we can attenuate this with the buff that the summoner adds to it, with this unit we make sure that the opponent cannot use skills such as Heal Tank or Triage.
Dr. Blight es la unidad por excelencia si queremos envenenar o afligir a nuestro enemigo y aunque tiene la velocidad más baja de nuestra alineación podemos atenuar esto con el buff que le añade el invocador, con esta unidad nos aseguramos que el oponente no pueda usar habilidades como Heal Tank o Triage.
🎴 Supply Runner & Countess Sinash
Supply Runner and Countess Sinash are 2 units that will be useful to us mainly as support, further increasing the speed of our vanguard so that in the event that Drybone Megalodon falls in battle and Tatiana Blayde takes the lead, it will become a difficult target to hit.
Supply Runner y Countess Sinash son 2 unidades que nos van a ser útil principalmente como apoyo incrementando todavía más la velocidad de de nuestra vanguardia para que en el caso de que Drybone Megalodon caiga en batalla y Tatiana Blayde se ponga al frente se convierta en un objetivo difícil de acertar.

🔥 Rounds 1
In the first round we can see that our opponent shielded himself with a tank with the shield ability, which neutralized our efforts to soften up the vanguard with our melee units, but not with our powerful ranged attacks that managed to subdue Pelacor Arbalestar and the Supply Runner, although at the end of the round we lost Drybone Megalodon.
En el primer round podemos ver que nuestro oponente se blindo con un tanque con la habilidad shield lo que neutraliza nuestros esfuerzos por ablandar la vanguardia con nuestras unidades melé pero no así con nuestros potentes ataque rango que lograron subyugar a Pelacor Arbalestar y al Supply Runner aunque al final del round perdimos a Drybone Megalodon.
🔥 Rounds 2
In the second round while we already eliminated the Venari Crystalsmith and weakened the defenses of the rest of the ranged units, our enemy was unable to hit any attack on Tatiana Blayde, the next round seems to be the end.
En el segundo round mientras ya eliminamos al Venari Crystalsmith y debilitamos las defensas del resto de unidades rango, nuestro enemigo fue incapaz de acertar cualquier ataque en Tatiana Blayde, el próximo round parece ser el final.
🔥 Rounds 3
For the last round, Tatiana eliminates the annoying tank and leaves the enemy Drybone Raider at death's door, leaving the opponent with no chance, who is left with only one ranged unit in the first position. This victory is very meritorious because we used a rare lvl 3 tank and in general a lineup that is at the level of the gold league, managing to defeat an opponent with almost all his cards at the maximum. Next battle!
Para el último round Tatiana elimina al molesto tanque y deja a las puertas de la muerte al Drybone Raider enemigo dejando sin ninguna oportunidad al oponente que solo queda con una unidad rango en la primera posición. Esta victoria tiene mucho mérito pues usamos un tanque raro lvl 3 y en general una alineación que esta a nivel de la liga de oro logrando derrotar a un oponente con casi todas sus cartas al máximo. Siguiente batalla!

When the new reward cards appeared, I made a post highlighting how the new cards of the earth class seemed to have the intention of incorporating more melee units to give a focus to physical attacks just like it happened with the water class, this made me very happy since this class seems perfect for units with melee attacks, only that I needed to incorporate more monsters with this type of attacks and among them was this card Halaran Huntress that with its Charge ability complemented strategies with melee units quite well. Let's see how efficient it is then.
Cuando las nuevas cartas rewards aparecieron, hice un post destacando como las nuevas cartas de la clase tierra parecían tener la intención de incorporar más unidades melé para darle un enfoque a los ataques físicos tal como sucedió con la clase agua, esto me alegró mucho ya que esta clase me parece perfecta para unidades con ataques melé solo que necesitaba incorporar más monst5ruos con este tipo de ataques y entre ellas estaba esta carta Halaran Huntress que con su habilidad Charge complementaba bastante bien estrategias con unidades melé. Veamos entonces cuan eficiente es.

🎴 Summoner/ Invocador: Lobb Lowland
Being consistent with the intention of taking advantage of the melee units in this class, we will use Lobb Lowland to incorporate another of the melee units that I like to use par excellence: Katrelba Gobson, with this card we will be able to summon her and thus complete a lineup with a melee focus.
Siendo coherente con la intención de aprovechar las unidades melé en esta clase usaremos a Lobb Lowland para incorporar otra de las unidades melé que por excelencia me gusta utilizar: Katrelba Gobson, con esta carta podremos invocarla y completar así una alineación con un enfoque melé.
🎴 Micelic Infantry
We will use Micelic Infantry as a tank, this unit is very convenient for several reasons, the first is its high base damage and second is its Giant Killer ability that allows it to do double damage to units with a mana cost equal to 10. Its only disadvantage is its slowness, but since the True Aim ruleset is present, we will not worry about it failing, we only have to worry about it being able to withstand enemy damage.
Usaremos como tanque a Micelic Infantry, esta unidad es muy conveniente por varias razones, la primera es su gran daño base y segundo es su habilidad Giant Killer que le permite hacer el doble de daño a unidades con un costo de mana igual a 10 su única desventaja es su lentitud pero en vista que esta presente la ruleset True Aim no nos preocuparemos porque pueda fallar, solo debemos preocuparnos por que sea capaz de aguantar el daño enemigo.
🎴 Goblin Psychic
In order for our tank to effectively withstand the greatest amount of damage possible we will use a healer in the second position, Goblin Psychic can not only heal us but also reduces enemy magic damage by -1 and prevents the target from healing. It is definitely a very valuable support unit.
Para que nuestro tanque pueda efectivamente soportar la mayor cantidad de daño posible usaremos un sanador en la segunda posición, Goblin Psychic no solo puede sanarnos sino que reduce el daño mágico enemigo en -1 y evita la curación del objetivo. Es en definitiva una unidad de apoyo muy valiosa.
🎴 Halaran Huntress
Halaran Hauntress will be our first melee unit in the second row, with the Charge ability it projects its attacks to the first position and since it can fly it gives it a high evasion rate in the case of opportunistic units. For now I have it at level 4 but my goal is to take it to level 7 as soon as possible.
Halaran Hauntress será nuestra primera unidad melé en la segunda fila, con la habilidad Charge proyecta sus ataques a la primera posición y como puede volar le confiere una alta tasa de evasión en el caso de unidades oportunistas. Por ahora la tengo en nivel 4 pero mi meta es llevarla lo más pronto posible a nivel 7.
🎴 Katrelba Gobson
Now we continue with the gladius card that we will use in this battle: Katrelba Gobson, my preference for this card is that it attacks the last position, a move that few expect and secondly, it can do double attack which makes it a really dangerous unit since if it eliminates its target and activates bloodlust this unit will become unstoppable, eliminating its targets without mercy.
Seguimos ahora con la carta gladius que usaremos en esta batalla: Katrelba Gobson, mi preferencia por esta carta es que ataca a la última posición un movimiento que pocos esperan y segundo es que puede hacer doble ataque lo que la convierte en una unidad realmente peligrosa ya que si elimina su objetivo y activa el bloodlust esta unidad se volverá indetenible eliminando a sus objetivos sin piedad.
Venari Scout
Venari Scout is one of the few units of this class with the opportunist ability that this splinter has in modern and although this is already being solved with the new reward cards for this lineup we will use it to cover our rear from opportunistic units and with the sneak ability.
Venari Scout es de las pocas unidades de esta clase con la habilidad opportunist que tiene este splinter en moderno y aunque esto ya se esta solventando con las nuevas cartas rewards para esta alineación lo usaremos para cubrir nuestra retaguardia de unidades oportunistas y con la habilidad sneak.
Regal Peryton
Regal will be our second magic unit in this lineup but the reason for placing her here is because of her high evasion, I don't want my melee units to get hit, much less from the rear, that's why both Regal Periton and Scout Venari are in these last positions to protect our melee units in the first positions.
Regal será nuestra segunda unidad mágica en esta alineación pero la razón de ubicarla aquí es por su alta evasión, no quiero que le lleguen a mis unidades melé y mucho menos desde la retaguardia por eso tanto Regal Periton como Scout Venari estan en estas últimas posiciones para proteger a nuestras unidades melé en las primeras posiciones.

🔥 Round 1
In this first round, the most important thing is that our tank managed to withstand the opponent's onslaught, while on our part we have already weakened the enemy rear enough to wipe it out in the next round.
En este primer round, lo más importante es que nuestro tanque logró aguantar la embestida del oponente, mientras que por nuestra parte ya hemos debilitando la retaguardia enemiga lo suficiente para arrasarla en el siguiente round.
🔥 Rounds 2 - 3
In the second round we can see how the enemy vanguard collapses with the elimination of the Drybone Barbarian at the hands of Halaran Huntress and with the obliteration of the rearguard by the joint action of Venari Scout and the terrible Katrelba Gobson who is now a stronger and faster unit which allows her to finish this combat in the third round eliminating Janni Rebel and Venari Crystalsmith. Victory without any casualties in our lineup!
En el segundo round podemos ver como colapsa tanto la vanguardia enemiga con la eliminación del Drybone Barbarian a manos de Halaran Huntress y con la obliteración de la retaguardia por la acción conjunta de Venari Scout y la terrible Katrelba Gobson que ahora es una unidad más fuerte y rápida lo que le permite terminar este combate en el tercer round eliminando a Janni Rebel y a Venari Crystalsmith. Victoria sin ninguna baja en nuestra alineación!
🔥Conclusiones🌲
- The new Rebellion reward cards are already giving the splinters a new shape in the game, first of all the fire class, which urgently needed a good rare tank and with its Flank ability allows the design of new strategies. While the earth class opens up the possibility of creating highly effective melee lineups, previously it was necessary to combine them with the dragon class, but now using only ground cards it is possible to achieve victories.
- Las nuevas cartas rewards Rebellion ya están dándole una nueva forma a los splinters en el juego, primeramente destacar la clase fuego que necesitaba urgentemente un buen tanque raro y con su habilidad Flank permite el diseño de nuevas estrategias. Mientras que la clase tierra abre la posibilidad de plantear alineaciones melé altamente efectivas antes era necesario combinarlos con la clase dragón, pero ahora usando exclusivamente cartas de tierra es posible lograr victorias efectivas.
Thus we end the second part of this series dedicated to the new Rebellion reward monsters, in this case with the Earth and Fire classes, which are the elements that I am most excited to continue having more and better additions.
