Saludos comunidad espero estén todos muy bien
El día de hoy me he sumado a esta nueva iniciativa de la comunidad de Hive NftGame latino. Una iniciativa que nos impulsa a escribir la historia de algún personaje del juego de War of Clans. Este personaje se llama Lancer.
Esta historia es algo larga. No es necesaria terminarla de una vez. Puede dedicarle algo de tiempo, para que la disfrute. Fue una historia que cree hace muchos años para un juego de rol que llegué a jugar con mi hermano y aunque no tiene los detalles de la original. La trama se asemeja lo suficiente. Espero la disfruten
Láncer era un personaje algo tétrico cuando se conocía por primera vez. Él, no era el típico caballero reluciente que se conocen en esas historias de Disney. Nuestro personaje, más bien parecía un espectro. Usaba una túnica oscura que cubría su cuerpo casi esquelético, era muy alto, su calzado estaba muy gastado y la mayaría de las veces usaba su túnica para cubrir su cabeza. Su cara, aunque era igual de delgada solía dar la impresión de tristeza.
Las personas solían esquivarlo, les resultaba algo incómodo encontrarse con él. Láncer, viajaba de pueblo en pueblo, así que ya muchos lo conocían y sabían que cuando llegaba era por cierta razón, no muy buena razón es importante señalar. Algunos decían que llegaba en el momento y tiempo correcto antes de que el mal tocara la puerta de los desvalidos. Otros, muy pocos hay que admitir, lo consideraban un talismán del mal augurio y si él llegaba a un lugar, el mal lo seguía.
La primera vez que se escuchó de este personaje fue en el Castillo de las Rosas. Se decía que era un lugar especial que creo un Rey muy enamorado para Elizabeth Rose una amante que tenía. Él estaba casado, pero no era un matrimonio feliz, por lo que fácilmente encontró consuelo en una sirvienta de su esposa que desapareció sin dejar ninguna pista. Su paradero, yacía en este nuevo castillo donde solía pasar los mejores días de su vida con el Rey (cuando se podía). Con el tiempo, Elizabeth se encontraba más sola. Al principio lo entendía, porque los tiempos de guerra habían llegado. Pero, cada vez estaba más sola, aburrida y molesta. Y así, como el Rey, ella encontró solución en los brazos del jardinero que se encargaba de adornar el castillo de rosas por órdenes explicitas del Rey. La relación, se estableció por mucho tiempo, hasta que esto llegó a oídos del Rey. Cuando él supo de esta traición, encontró el tiempo para ir al Castillo de las Rosas nuevamente y develar con sus propios ojos la nueva relación que sostenía el amor de su vida. Sin deparo, a ambos los ejecutó en el acto con su espada y los hizo enterrar en el jardín con las rosas. Ya después de ser enterrados los maldijo con mucho odio y enterró su espada varias veces para seguir cortándolos. Su espada salía con sangre y tierra y esta caía en las rosas. Su maldición fue tan poderosa que las rosas cobraban vida. Él lo notó cuando una rama le arrebató la espada de las manos. Pensó que se le había trabado, pero cuando intentó recuperarla, el arma se agitaba en su contra para darle muerte y junto a él todos los súbditos que estaban presentes. El Castillo de las Rosas quedó maldito por las palabras de su propio creador y con la sangre que se unía en amor. Una maldición sin duda muy poderosa.
Nuestro caballero se adentraba en un bosque turbio sin rumbo. Se detuvo en un árbol de manzanos y consiguió alcanzar algunas para zacear un poco el hambre. Y, sin darse cuenta se encontraba con un pequeño duende que lloraba frente a una entrada de piedras. Láncer se acercó al pequeño duende que no era más grande que un conejo. El duende notó la presencia y le solicitó auxilio apenas lo vio. Le rogaba que lo ayudara a buscar un anillo que había dejado dentro del castillo. Era un anillo muy importante para él. Siempre que entraba a buscar el anillo terminaba regresando porque el jardín de rosa era tan denso que no lo dejaba entrar. Le dijo que si le ayudaba a recuperar el anillo le serviría por el resto de su vida, que él le podría responder cualquier pregunta que tuviese y si recuperara el anillo le podía conceder solo un deseo. Láncer, entendió lo que le solicitaba el duende y sabía que los duendes siempre cumplen su palabra. Pero, sabía que los duendes eran sumamente engañosos, no se podía confiar de ellos.
Sabiendo todo eso, decidió ayudarlo. Se quitó la túnica y en un bolso que cargaba escondido se colocó un manto blanco que se ajustó a él como una gran bata. En su espalda, cargaba una espada gigantesca que no cualquiera podría cargar la tomó con una mano y le dijo al duende que si no regresaba se podía quedar con la armadura.
Diciendo esto dio un gran brinco. Un gran brinco quedó corto, parecía que elevaba vuelo sobre el jardín de rosas. El duende quedó sorprendido, nunca antes había visto algo así. Se dijo para sí mismo, debe ser una prenda mágica. Diciendo eso se acordó de la armadura y salió corriendo a ver el contenido que había en el bolso. Y, sus ojos casi se salían de sus órbitas cuando vieron la armadura. Quiso cargarla, pero era imposible ni siquiera con su magia se podría cargar. Pero, dijo que sin esta armadura era imposible cumplir la misión.
La intención oculta del duende era alimentar la magia que alimentaba al anillo. Lo que nadie sabía, era que la maldición del Castillo de las Rosas fue posible con el impulso de un poco de magia. La magia que un anillo intencionalmente se había depositado en el castillo. El duende tenía la misma treta de engañar a cualquiera que fuera pasando para que buscara el anillo. Por supuesto, estos no podrían llegar al castillo morirían en el jardín de rosas y la magia del anillo se haría cada vez más poderosa. Esta magia haría al mismo tiempo más fuerte al jardín, aunque podría ser cortado o incendiado, se regeneraría muy rápido.
Láncer aterrizó en el medio del rosal, separó su espada de la espalda y la blandió con mucha fuerza. Era tan fuerte y ágil que blandir la espada de esa manera tan agresiva le permitió ver la dirección del castillo y volvió a brincar hasta él. Llegó a uno de los balcones y entró por la ventana después de cortar las enredaderas que ahí se posaban. Entre las pertenencias de Elizabeth encontró un anillo que no tenía ni un gramo de polvo encima y supo que esa era la joya que buscaba. La tomó y sintió la magia que producía. Entendió todo, el jardín, el abandono, al duende.
Procuró salir del castillo y notó que las rosas empezaban a dirigirse en su dirección con la clara intención de atacarlo. Pero, Láncer no le dio importancia a esto. Estaba buscando el corazón. Con una vista rápida lo encontró. Encontró el corazón de la maldición, se lanzó hacia ella y de entre sus bolsillos sacó un pequeño frasco. Agua bendecida por 7 clérigos. Aún no se conoce una maldición que pueda soportar esta agua.
Láncer la vertió toda sobre el corazón de la maldición que resultaba ser el lugar donde se consumó la maldición, donde los enamorados y el creador yacían. Mientras lo hacía, unió sus manos, cerró sus ojos y les confirió una oración. Las rosas y ramas estaban por atraparlo, hasta que se detuvieron y empezaron a morir. Terminó de dar su pésame y decidió finalizar su misión.
El duende veía estupefacto como ese inmenso jardín se abría paso ante el guerrero y ya su arrepentimiento se manifestaba con lágrimas. Se arrodilló esperando que el guerrero le diera fin a su vida. Pero, el caballero le lanzó el anillo hacia sus piernas y le dijo que le concediera su deseo. El duende vio una oportunidad para salvar su vida y tal vez librarse del juramento. Todo dependía del deseo. Si era un deseo muy poderoso, un deseo que consumiera mucha magia, no podría librarse de su destino. ¿Cuál es tu deseo? Le dijo con molestia.
-- - Deseo recordar lo que no puedo recordar. Dijo el guerrero. El duende le pareció que era un deseo muy fácil así que se lo concedió y ya iba pensando en su escapatoria. Se puso el anillo, señaló la cabeza de Láncer dijo el hechizo y Láncer cerró sus ojos cayendo de rodillas al instante que el duende terminaba el conjuro.
Láncer se recordaba siendo un pastor muy feliz, vivía en el campo, no estaba delgado, tenía una esposa Lilit y dos hijos, la menor Lydia y el menor con el nombre igual al de su padre ... No podía recordar el nombre de su hijo, pero lo llamaba campeón, porque le gustaba jugar a la guerra y siempre salía victorioso. El abuelo de Láncer quién les había heredado la granja fue un guerrero de la Antigua Corte de la Luz. Solo los guerreros designados por Dios podían servir en esta corte. Después que este majestuoso guerrero terminara sus servicios con la orden se retiró y vivió una vida tranquila en la granja, sus tiempos de guerrero terminaron y procuró que su familia se mantuviera alejada de las guerras. No era una vida sencilla tener el corazón con tanta ira y arrepentimientos.
El sueño saltó a un momento donde Láncer estaba en el taller en la parte de atrás de la casa, reparando un hacha con la que solía cortar madera. De repente a la distancia vio a un grupo de 5 personas acercándose a su casa. Sabía que no eran buenos, porque cubrían sus rostros con pañuelos. Láncer salió corriendo adentro de la casa para ocultar a sus hijos y a su esposa. Los hizo esconderse entre las paredes del sótano y rompió las linternas que ahí había. Solo otro miembro de la familia o alguien que conocía el lugar podría saber dónde buscarlos.
Mientras, Láncer que todavía tenía el hacha que reparaba en las manos decidió salir a enfrentar a los vándalos, no tenía experiencia peleando. Pero, proteger a su familia era lo único que podía hacer y eso era suficiente.
Cuando salió, vio a uno de ellos moviéndose detrás del granero, así que fue corriendo hacia él para agarrarlo desprevenido. Y al cruzar la esquina del granero fue sorprendido con un gran golpe en la cabeza que lo dejó inconsciente.
No sabe cuanto tiempo pasó, solo sabía que algo caliente corría por su rostro y esto junto a un severo dolor de cabeza lo obligaba a despertar. Mareado, confundido y sin saber que pasaba notó un inmenso incendio a la distancia, una granja se quemaba y frente a ella yacía una mujer que no poseía ninguna prenda puesta.
En su confusión corrió para auxiliarla, pero ya era muy tarde para ella. Se llenó de rabia de ver tal escena, ¿quién se atrevería hacerle tal cosa a una mujer indefensa? A la distancia ve a un par de sujetos alejándose riendo y burlándose. Decidió ir por ellos para conseguir respuestas, pero cuando se estaba acercando a ellos los escuchó diciendo. Que mujer tan estúpida pensando que saliendo para ayudar a aquel hombre podría hacer gran diferencia. Lo único para que sirvió fue para satisfacer al jefe. Deberíamos regresar y aprovechar sus restos… y mientras se giraba este último, Láncer lo sorprendía con una piedra en la mano que se encajaba en su cien dejándolo muerto al instante. La ira estaba moviendo a Láncer en ese momento. El compañero, se giró y logró esquivar el segundo ataque de Láncer, se alejó un poco, pero ya el tercer ataque venía con ira una patada directo al estómago lo hacía caer, luego Láncer se le lanzaba encima con la intención de terminarlo con la misma piedra que había matado al compañero. Fue un golpe de parte y parte, Láncer lograba encajar la piedra tan fuerte por un ojo que se le enterró hasta el cerebro, pero el rufián tratando de sacar su espada le encajó un golpe en la cabeza que lo volvió a desmayar.
Estos dos golpes alcanzaron para borrarle la memoria definitivamente. Al despertar nuevamente, vio la escena y supo que había sido él quién los mató. Para alivianar la culpa decidió enterrarlos. Parece que, aunque perdió la memoria, su noción de lo correcto y lo incorrecto no lo había perdido.
Regresó a la que había sido su hogar, su granja. Ya hecha añicos después que el incendio hiciera su trabajo. Vio el cuerpo de Lilit y procedió a cubrirlo, por respeto. No sabía que había pasado, solo rogaba a todos los dioses que él no fuese el causante de tal tragedia. La enterró y pidió disculpas.
Decidió buscar respuestas, la granja estaba tan calcinada que ahí no hallaría nada. Decidió ir al granero que aún estaba de pie. Pero no encontraba nada. Movió un poco la paja del suelo mientras caminaba y una luz brillante salió de entre las maderas. Procedió a descubrir el secreto. Encontró un cofre de oro, que al sacarlo del agujero donde estaba se abrió por sí solo. Le pareció raro encontrar una armadura y un manto blanco. Una mano se postraba sobre uno de los hombros de Láncer mientras escuchaba: Es tu turno. Se volteó inmediatamente para no encontrar nada. Tomó la armadura que pesaba increíblemente, no la podía cargar tan fácilmente, así que decidió dejarla ahí, se montó el manto encima y sin darse cuenta ya estaba cargando la armadura sin problema. El manto le daba agilidad, velocidad y fuerza. Mientras que la armadura, le daba resistencia física y mágica, al mismo tiempo que le incrementaba la fuerza mucho más de lo que el manto hacía. El último objeto era una espada gigantesca. La espada bastarda más grande que haya visto. Una espada mágica que había sido imbuida por elfos del bosque secreto a su abuelo hace muchos años atrás, una espada que podía cortar hasta una montaña.
Láncer no encontró las respuestas que buscaba, pero tomó los artefactos, iba a tomar el cofre de oro. Pero, una vez que retiró las reliquias de su interior se convirtió en una caja de madera común y corriente. Así que la dejó.
Desde ese momento, ha hecho hasta lo imposible para recordar lo que pasó aquella noche y especialmente quién era él.
De repente despierta del trance que lo tenía el duende. La magia del anillo se agotó, no le dio más respuestas. Pero, en ese momento Láncer, recordó a sus hijos y se levantó de un salto. Sus hijos que habían fallecido en aquel incendio, que no habían sido enterrados y que habían sido olvidados por su padre, un padre que no recordaba todavía el nombre de su hijo y por lo tanto el suyo. Cayó nuevamente de rodillas y se rindió en un llanto incontrolable. Quedó así por varios minutos y en el suelo donde yacía su espada recordó las palabras que escuchó esa noche. Es tu turno. Se llenó de ira y quiso recordar a los bastardos que le arrebataron su vida.
Se levantó de un golpe y apunto con el arma al duende para que le diera el resto de sus recuerdos. Pero, este le dijo que el trato fue por un deseo, además ya la magia del anillo se terminó. Láncer recordó que el duende podía responderle cualquier cosa que él le pidiera, así que le hizo cientos de pregunta al mismo tiempo. El duende, como no sabía cuál era su destino, decidió ir alargando las respuestas. Le dijo: - Te daré una respuesta diaria sobre tus recuerdos. Tienes que ser muy específico y claro en tus preguntas, si son muy generales o muy tediosas para responder tu pregunta del día quedará cancelada. Yo te daré las respuestas y te las daría todas de una vez, solo que no confío aún en ti y no se lo que me harás después de responder. Además, ya prometí servirte…
Láncer se inundó de ira, pero sabía que sin el duende no obtendría respuestas. Así que aceptó el trato…
De esta manera es que Láncer va llegando a cada uno de sus destinos, el duende suele darle pistas donde alguno de sus villanos estuvo o está. Al llegar a los destinos indicados por el duende y esperaba por el peligro que azotaría el lugar y después de salir victorioso, no eran los resultados que él esperaba. La mayoría de los sitios a los que acudía, no brindaban las respuestas que él quería y poco a poco la tristeza iba esculpiéndose en su físico. Aunque sabía que estas embarcaciones ayudaban a incontables vidas y les evitaba un mal rato, no poder terminar de recordar, no poder encontrar a los responsables del homicidio de su familia y de no hallar la venganza que anhelaba, lo perturbaba de una manera indescriptible.
El turno de Láncer no ha llegado aún. Aún quiere hacer pagar a los que le hicieron sufrir, a los que le arrebataron a su esposa, sus hijos y su vida. Después de que su corazón se cure, estará listo para la misión más importante de su vida.

Today I have joined this new initiative of the Hive NftGameLa community. An initiative that encourages us to write the story of a character in the game War of Clans. This character is called Lancer.
This story is a bit long. It is not necessary to finish it at once. You can spend some time on it, so you can enjoy it. It was a story I created many years ago for a role playing game I got to play with my brother and although it doesn't have the details of the original. The plot is close enough. I hope you enjoy it.
Lancer was a somewhat creepy character when he first met. He was not the typical shining knight you meet in those Disney stories. Our character, rather, looked more like a specter. He wore a dark robe that covered his almost skeletal body, he was very tall, his shoes were very worn and most of the time he used his robe to cover his head. His face, though equally thin, usually gave the impression of sadness.
People used to avoid him, it was somewhat uncomfortable for them to meet him. Lancer, he traveled from town to town, so many already knew him and knew that when he arrived it was for a certain reason, not a very good reason it is important to point out. Some said that he arrived at the right time and time before evil knocked on the door of the helpless. Others, very few it must be admitted, considered him a talisman of bad omen and if he came to a place, evil would follow.
The first time this character was heard of was in the Castle of the Roses. It was said to be a special place created by a very enamored King for Elizabeth Rose a mistress he had. He was married, but it was not a happy marriage, so he easily found solace in a servant of his wife who disappeared without a clue. Her whereabouts, lay in this new castle where she used to spend the best days of her life with the King (when she could). As time went by, Elizabeth found herself more lonely. At first she understood, because the times of war had come. But, she was increasingly lonely, bored and annoyed. And so, like the King, she found a solution in the arms of the gardener who was in charge of adorning the castle with roses by explicit orders of the King. The relationship was established for a long time, until it reached the King's ears. When he learned of this betrayal, he found the time to go to the Castle of Roses again and unveil with his own eyes the new relationship with the love of his life. Without hesitation, he executed them both on the spot with his sword and had them buried in the garden with the roses. Already after they were buried he cursed them with great hatred and buried his sword several times to continue cutting them. His sword came out with blood and dirt and it fell on the roses. His curse was so powerful that the roses came to life. He noticed it when a branch snatched the sword from his hands. He thought it had stuck, but when he tried to retrieve it, the weapon was waving against him to kill him and along with him all the subjects who were present. The Castle of the Roses was cursed by the words of its own creator and with the blood that was united in love. A curse undoubtedly very powerful.
Our knight wandered aimlessly into a murky forest. He stopped at an apple tree and managed to reach some apple trees to satisfy his hunger. And, without realizing it, he came across a little goblin who was crying in front of a stone entrance. Lancer approached the little goblin, who was no bigger than a rabbit. The goblin noticed his presence and asked for help as soon as he saw him. He begged him to help him look for a ring he had left inside the castle. It was a very important ring for him. Whenever he went inside to look for the ring, he always ended up returning because the rose garden was so dense that it would not let him in. He told her that if he helped him get the ring back it would serve him for the rest of his life, that he could answer any question he had and if he got the ring back he could grant her just one wish. Lancer, understood what the goblin was asking and knew that goblins always keep their word. But, he knew that goblins were extremely deceitful, they could not be trusted.
Knowing all this, he decided to help him. He took off his tunic and in a hidden bag he placed a white cloak that fit him like a large robe. On his back, he carried a gigantic sword that not just anyone could carry, he took it with one hand and told the goblin that if he did not return he could keep the armor.
Saying this he gave a great leap. A great leap fell short, it seemed that he was soaring over the rose garden. The goblin was amazed, he had never seen anything like this before. He said to himself, it must be a magical garment. Saying that he remembered the armor and ran out to see what was in the bag. And, his eyes almost popped out of their sockets when they saw the armor. He wanted to carry it, but it was impossible even with his magic it could not be carried. But, he said that without this armor it was impossible to accomplish the mission.
The hidden intention of the goblin was to feed the magic that powered the ring. What no one knew, was that the curse of the Castle of Roses was made possible with the boost of a little magic. Magic that a ring had intentionally deposited in the castle. The goblin had the same ruse of tricking anyone passing by into looking for the ring. Of course, they would not be able to reach the castle, they would die in the rose garden and the magic of the ring would become more and more powerful. This magic would at the same time make the garden stronger, although it could be cut or set on fire, it would regenerate very quickly.
Lancer landed in the middle of the rose bush, separated his sword from his back and swung it with great force. He was so strong and agile that swinging the sword in such an aggressive way allowed him to see the direction of the castle and jumped back to it. He reached one of the balconies and entered through the window after cutting the vines that were perched there. Among Elizabeth's belongings he found a ring that did not have an ounce of dust on it and he knew that this was the jewel he was looking for. He took it and felt the magic it produced. He understood everything, the garden, the roses, the abandonment, the goblin.
He tried to leave the castle and noticed that the roses began to head in his direction with the clear intention of attacking him. But, Lancer did not give importance to this. He was looking for the heart. With a quick glance he found it. He found the heart of the curse, rushed towards it and from his pockets took out a small vial. Water blessed by seven clerics. There is still no known curse that can withstand this water.
Lancer poured it all over the heart of the curse, which happened to be the place where the curse was consummated, where the lovers and the creator lay. As he did so, he joined his hands, closed his eyes and said a prayer. The roses and branches were about to catch him, until they stopped and began to die. He finished his condolences and decided to end his mission.
The goblin watched stupefied as the immense garden opened up before the warrior and his regret was already manifesting itself in tears. He knelt down, waiting for the warrior to end his life. But, the knight threw the ring towards his legs and told him to grant his wish. The goblin saw an opportunity to save his life and maybe get rid of the oath. It all depended on the wish. If it was a very powerful wish, a wish that consumed a lot of magic, he would not be able to get rid of his fate. What is your wish? He said to her with annoyance.
-- I wish to remember what I cannot remember. Said the warrior. The goblin thought it was a very easy wish, so he granted it and was already thinking about his escape. He put on the ring, pointed to Lancer's head, said the spell and Lancer closed his eyes and fell to his knees as the goblin finished the incantation.
Lancer remembered himself as a very happy shepherd, he lived in the country, he was not thin, he had a wife Lilith and two children, the youngest Lydia and the youngest with the same name as his father ... He could not remember the name of his son, but he called him champion, because he liked to play war and always came out victorious. Lancer's grandfather who had inherited the farm was a warrior of the Ancient Court of Light. Only warriors appointed by God could serve in this court. After this majestic warrior finished his service with the order he retired and lived a quiet life on the farm, his time as a warrior was over and he tried to keep his family away from wars. It was not an easy life to have a heart full of anger and regrets.
The dream jumped to a moment where Lancer was in the workshop at the back of the house, repairing an axe with which he used to cut wood. Suddenly in the distance he saw a group of 5 people approaching his house. He knew they were no good, because they covered their faces with handkerchiefs. Lancer ran inside the house to hide his children and his wife. He made them hide in the basement walls and broke the lanterns in the basement. Only another family member or someone who knew the place would know where to look for them.
Meanwhile, Lancer, who still had the axe he was repairing in his hands, decided to go out to face the vandals, he had no experience in fighting. But, protecting his family was the only thing he could do and that was enough.
As he went out, he saw one of them moving behind the barn, so he ran towards him to catch him off guard. And as he crossed the corner of the barn he was surprised with a big blow to the head that knocked him unconscious.
He doesn't know how much time passed, he only knew that something hot was running down his face and this together with a severe headache forced him to wake up. Dizzy, confused and not knowing what was happening he noticed a huge fire in the distance, a farmhouse was burning and in front of it lay a woman who had no clothes on.
In his confusion he ran to help her, but it was too late for her. He was filled with rage to see such a scene, who would dare do such a thing to a defenseless woman? In the distance he sees a couple of guys walking away laughing and mocking. He decided to go after them to get answers, but as he was approaching them he heard them saying. What a stupid woman thinking that going out to help that man would make a big difference. The only thing it did was satisfy the boss. We should go back and take advantage of her remains... and as the latter turned around, Lancer surprised him with a stone in his hand that smashed into his head leaving him dead instantly. Anger was moving Lancer at that moment. The companion, turned and managed to dodge the second attack of Lancer, he moved away a little, but the third attack came with anger a kick straight to the stomach made him fall, then Lancer threw himself on him with the intention of finishing him with the same stone that had killed the companion. It was a blow of part and part, Lancer managed to fit the stone so hard through one eye that he was buried to the brain, but the ruffian trying to draw his sword fit him a blow in the head that knocked him out again.
These two blows were enough to erase his memory for good. When he woke up again, he saw the scene and knew that it had been him who had killed them. To alleviate his guilt, he decided to bury them. It seems that, although he lost his memory, he had not lost his notion of right and wrong.
He returned to what had been his home, his farm. Already shattered after the fire had done its work. He saw Lilit's body and proceeded to cover it, out of respect. He did not know what had happened, he only prayed to all the gods that he was not the cause of such a tragedy. He buried her and apologized.
He decided to look for answers, the farm was so burned that he would find nothing there. He decided to go to the barn that was still standing. But he found nothing.
