Hello, its another week of the comedy club prompt and this week we are to discuss something funny as thr topic has said. You see, I once has a dog called bobbies. I was young and I really wanted a dog because I saw a lot of people having one, it was like a trend back then but little did I know about the responsibility of owning a dog.
Back then, I would always forget to feed it because I was a student, I would always rush to school in the morning and when I’m back home, I would be struggling with the other world assignments given to me. By night time, I would have gone to bed and my mom would be the one to remind me.
Here is what my dog has to say about me.
Hi. I’m Bobbies. Big fash dog.
And if I could talk? Oh, I will make sure he cries everyday.
Let me start by saying: I didn’t choose this life. I was promised love, belly rubs, and regular meals. But instead… I got vibes and vibes alone. I don’t even think Man remembers he has someone called Bobbies.
You see, he claims he loves me. Says I’m his best friend. But tell me, does your best friend forget to feed you? Consistently? Like someone with lost of memory? Because mine does. I wonder he passes his exam, oh chim.
He wakes up, always eating on the dinning table, I do watch him, and off to school he goes. Then when he returns with a tired face and gives me the look. You know the one that says, “Bobbies, please. Not today.” I’ll just wish I can snap him out of existence.
Every day is not today, when will it be today. (Tears) I have dog right too, oh chim.
If not for his mom (aka my original hero), I’d be out here writing my own survival story: “How I Almost Became a Stray dog in My Own House.”
And don’t get me started on the fake guilt. He will see my empty bowl, and then gasps, then says “Awww, I’m so sorry Bobbies,” my friend, sorry for yourself. You are a danger to any animal you come across you this boy. If not for your mom, I would have beat the hell out of you.
But I ask myself always, why do I still love this boy, its not like he is of any help to me but i can just stop wagging my tail when i see him. Although he needs to see the doctor for his lost of memory that happens frequently. Anyway, Ill continue to be a good dog to him, because im not petty.
But if I could talk… just know, I’d be on Instagram Live every day, spilling all his secret to the world.
