Some years ago, I had the opportunity to feed my sibling. She would cry during the fight, and sometimes I would deliberately leave it for my mother to feed her when she got back, but other times I had to run after her.
Feeding her kids is one of my mother's most basic yet challenging responsibilities. Making sure her children are getting the right nutrition can be a daily struggle, whether it is because of health issues, picky eating habits, or financial limitations.
Cost is the first obstacle for many mothers. For families, especially those with fixed incomes, the rising cost of food makes it challenging to prepare wholesome, well-balanced meals. Many people are forced to rely on less expensive, processed foods that are deficient in vital nutrients because fresh fruits, vegetables, and protein sources can be costly. This may lead to malnutrition, which would hinder a child's development.
