I started building this studio FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE COMMUNITY - not only myself. Several months ago I had a powerful etheric wave hit me influencing my energy to manifest a professional grade studio. I put my 80% complete new album on hold (along with my online blogging life) to give this project my full attention. My plan was to finish this build and then invest more into crypto afterwards in hopes there would be a dip at that time... oh how I wish I did it in reverse and invested more in crypto first, but when I am called by Gaia to move, I move. No regrets here from this manifested dopeness.
My bro Matty helping out heavy with this build - I was the sidekick in this situation.
There is a TON of planning and research that went into deciding the most optimal approach to this build. This house is loud and the basement ceiling in not insulated, so soundproofing in this scenario was just as important as acoustic treatment. I spent weeks on end scouring forums and videos, communicating with expert sound engineers, and even making a few forum posts of my own (for the first time ever) on Gearslutz. The next time I do this will be on my own property, and with the mistakes I made in this build (which were few and all corrected) I have learned how to do the next one to perfection. The main differences will be to create the next vocal booth with larger dimensions and non-parallel walls. Every other aspect is as perfect as can be in this build.
This studio will provide another solid anchor for the conscious music movement in Oregon, and will act as the base of operations for the Self Owned Souls collective initiative releasing later in 2021.
I have been stacking media from this build/move the whole time I have been off-chain so I have a lot of content to show you guys. Part 1 is by far the least interesting as its just the beginning stages but each video will get more interesting and more detailed as this series moves forward.
