Dove Mosis & Hip Hop Medicine - "Not Freestyles, Psychic Surgery"

Just as I begin preparing to take Self Owned Souls to the next level of it's evolution, I start meeting all kinds of promoters, and extremely talented truth-hop producers and emcees start pouring out the woodwork, all spilling directly in my path. The last four events I have interacted with recently have been absolutely incredible. Three of these have been at our new little spot here in town (near Portland) I have come to call "The Secret-Space", where high caliber art and hip hop collide any time we all show up.

At all three of this location's events, I was handed a physical album (or albums) from an artist I was unaware of previously - more serendipity as more Self Owned Souls band-with-together, growing strength in our constantly evolving collective. All of them are incredibly talented with all of our energy expelling towards the same messages and goals. Last night I was gifted a physical album by Dove (depicted below).

The Staff of Hermes with a tuning wand at it's base that is capped by the Khepri wings of the scarab, representing immortality - the Ankh of which turns into what appears to be a crane or eagle, flying/ascending up the stairs of the ziggurat temple and at the human in an Egyptian pose, wearing headphones and holding what appears to be a vinyl record and a lamp (bringer of light through music). The rattle snakes wrapping around the Caduceus have markings similar to that of the Hopi and Navajo tribes in Arizona. Topped with a winged microphone that is crystal base equipped, and with an interdimensional orb atop the capsule. I am beyond impressed with the Qi this talisman possesses, and honored to weild one.

We are getting our symbiosis together - As I explained some newer details involving our Self Owned Souls collective to all the extremely talented artists that fate brought to our circle last night, I felt all the lights turn on in their souls with the realization of how necessary and beneficial this project is, not only for all of us, but for EVERYONE.

While I knew most of the other artists in the room, it was my first time discovering Dove Mosis. This emcee-mystic is an outstanding freestyler... or as he would call it "psychic surgeon". The first thing I noticed about him was that he carries a staff that he designed to double as a microphone stand - A staff with additions (crystals and ornamentals) that appear as if he added them over time - representing his journey (seen below).

I made a couple different staffs like this years ago, but they would either become lost or destroyed. I eventually realized that I do not need a staff or any other imbued object to cast powerful majik, I already possess that power within... still, I have had an idea for a custom performance microphone lightsaber hilt with it's own illuminated crystal ever since I crafted my song The Mic's My Lightsaber years ago. I will have that created soon, when the timing is optimal.

The Staff of Hermes (Caduceus) within the sacred 4 (which is actually 5 or 1 - representing elemental forces) - emanating from a multi-souled mythical beast cherubim merging as Thoth and Ra (moon and sun), along with the wings of Isis, who's talons are grasping the sword of Truth - residing in and guarding the vortex in-between the stargates of the Great Pyramids.
