
The European Union could give 28-40 billion euros promptly to help little and medium-sized organizations hit by the impacts of the coronavirus pandemic, the European Investment Bank said in a letter to EU fund priests.
In any case, such assistance would not be sufficient to quiet money related markets, the letter stated, requiring a "huge extra assurance" from EU governments that the EIB could use to guarantee open access to back for little and medium-sized organizations.
