This post will explain tournament framework for Genesis League Goals (GLG), a game on Genesis League Sports (GLS) Platform. Compete with your favorite players in the form of NFTs, manage soccer teams and win rewards in this rapid tactic strategy game that utilize NFTs, cryptocurrency, and the Hive blockchain – Genesis League Goals!
Times/Dates
Tournaments will be held every THREE weeks, and each tournament will last ONE week. This means one week of live tournaments and two weeks without. Tournaments will start on Monday and end at midnight the following Sunday.

Total GLX = 72-82k
Total GMLSPA Packs = 660-860

This is a round-robin tournament
You will play everyone 2x, but each match is just a single match (not 2 halves)
You cannot use skills
You can use ANY CARDS - Challenges in the XXXXXXX Level
Order of Rotation: Solo, Local, Regional, National
Logging Scores on Challonge - Please be sure to have logged 2 sets for each match-up. Log your scores for each set, and the game will score each set win, tie or loss using the points above. This saves everyone from scanning the whole list of players. Select your opponent and log 2 sets (which are 2 matches).
Ties in final standings are: Head to Head Win, points scored, then total wins
Points are Win 3, Draw 1, Loss 0
Players must have 1 win or draw to earn leaderboard rewards, and play more than 50% of your matches. Anyone who played less than 50% of their matches gets no rewards.
NOTE: the time may be adjusted by the tournament director on a case-to-case basis

2nd place = 12k GLX + 100 GMLSPA card packs
3rd place = 10k GLX + 90 GMLSPA card packs
4th place = 8k GLX + 80 GMLSPA card packs
5th place = 7k GLX + 70 GMLSPA card packs
6th place = 6k GLX + 60 GMLSPA card packs
7th place = 5k GLX + 50 GMLSPA card packs
8th place = 4k GLX + 40 GMLSPA card packs
9th place = 3k GLX + 30 GMLSPA card packs
10th place = 2k GLX + 20 GMLSPA card packs
Places 11th-20th: 1k GLX + 20 GMLSPA card packs
Tournament Rules
Following rules will apply to all matches played in tournaments. In case of violations, players can be disqualified from the tournament.
Basics
This is a round robin tournament, so you play everybody else twice. Players are limited to 1 account per tournament. If caught using multiple accounts, player will be disqualified from the tournament. Moderators reserve the right to ban player from future tournaments as a penalty. Every account has two teams, any of the two teams can be used to play the tournament as soon as they qualify the team rules described later.
Registration

Players need to set their tournament name/username as hive username in case it differs from it. Also, make sure to change your discord nickname to the same.
Communication
Players will communicate via DM or GLS Discord to match up and send challenge to opponent.
Players will be responsible to update results on challonge & also share the same is results channel in GLS discord for relevant tournament. Players must should submit screenshots of their team in GLS discord before you begin matches.
Matching Up and Missed Matches
Players are responsible for connecting with and coordinating matches. It is recommended that all players use GLS Discord to connect with other players.
If a player has not responded to you in 24 hours, please DM the tournament administrator. We will make every effort to reach a player. If both the player and the administrator have tried to contact another player on Discord and they have not responded by the end designated time for play, the match will be considered a loss awarding the win to the active player.
In case both player were online and were not able to match, they will be disqualified from the tournament. Moderators reserve the right to ban player from future tournaments if they repeat this behaviour. Players who drop out of matchplay should contact the tournament administrator and subsequent matches will be a loss for the team that dropped out.
Matches must be played and scores reported within the designated timeframe. Scores not reported in this time frame will be considered a forfeit and neither team will receive any points for the match.
Verification of Scores
Please take a screenshot of all matches and post them to GLS Discord. Both parties should verify the results. Then one player should report the combined 2 match scores (or more if there if needed) on Challonge to determine the winner.
Rule Violations
All protests, concerns, or rules violations should be reported to the tournament administrators. Leq or Khan via discord DM. You must only use allowed players and skills levels for each league. Any player that exceeds these limits will be DQed for that match, and the opponent will be given a win, unless both parties agree to replay the match. In the event of unforeseen issues, the tournament administrators will consult with the GLS team and make a final determination of how to handle the situation.
Fair Play
Respect for opponents, moderators, and spectators is mandatory. Any form of discrimination or unsporting behavior will result in disciplinary action by the GLS team. In the case that the game glitches, maintenance mode, computer freezes, incorrect invites, playing in the wrong tier, violations of the Star/XP level, family emergencies, and/or if anything else goes wrong, just replay the match. If the players cannot come to an agreement, please DM a tournament administrator and we will help moderate and sort things out. If you think something sneaking is going on, just reach out to one of the tournament administrators. Leq and Khan may join the tournament, and should there be an issue with one of them, please DM the other administrator to help you. In the event that you feel we are not being objective, we will forfeit the match in the interest of fair play, otherwise, prepare for a great match!
