Hi everyone on the QC Community, here is @nemzy coming your way all the way from Uyo in Akwa Abasibom State. This happens to be my very first time of participating in this community contests.
This week's topic on first impressions is very sensitive and interesting and i told myself i must submit my entry despite the fact that I'm feeling a bit feverish this night
Talking about what i think about someone when i meet them for the first time? Or if my first impressions about someone affects how i interact with them? Yet still if my opinions about them changes as i get to know them or lastly if I maintain what i thought about them the first time i met them.
Very often we tend to be swift in making conclusions on people without thorough observations and unbiased judgements. Whereas first impressions most times matters a great deal be it personal or professional, the fact still remains that it can be misleading because it could have lasting effects that could overtime become difficult to change.
Using myself as a case study, there's a decision i made years back without careful analysis that I'm still regretting till today. Very sad isn't it? It's strictly very personal and i would love to keep it as confidential as possible.

The pictures above are my pastor and his wife with myself. My first impression about them really affected the way I interacted with them initially until that changed when i got very close to them.
Most times our positive or negative feelings or thoughts about someone greatly affects our relationship with them hence the need for us to always give room for thorough and critical analysis of people before drawing conclusions on them.
In conclusion, from experience I've come to learn that first impressions are never always conclusive and how pertinent it is to be patient with people rather than make biased judgements on them that are certainly bound to change overtime.
Thanks for stopping by my blog
See you hopefully in the next contest.
One love 😘 💕
