Every Country needs rules and regulations even if they are just guidelines for large communities to try and get along. We have just got back from a big overseas trip to quite a few different countries and it's interesting to see how different places deal with their rules first hand.
I have missed a few posts over the last couple of weeks, I definitely underestimated how much all the travelling would take it out of me. There was so much to take in and understand even though most things were very similar to back home. The road rules in Europe were the most challenging when tired. Driving and walking on the right seemed simple and easy to follow but It was all very easy to forget and just follow my usual instinct of looking to the right and then just stepping onto the road before looking left. We were forever reminding each other to make sure we did not get cleaned up by a bicycle or electric car.
I have no idea what this old Uber driver had done wrong in my photo but he sure upset the police officer that had pulled him up outside our airport hotel room. I am guessing it was just some minor traffic infringement as there did not seem to be any tickets issued but just a length telling off and a lot of finger and arm pointing.
As a tourist I think I prefer the countries with the stronger rules and regulations as they struggle to come to terms with the busy places with lots of mopeds and bikes where usually the strongest and fastest win and get right of way.
