Going To The Village For the First Time!!!
Going To The Village Can be really fun most especially when you get to feel, see and experience the old way of life. But the road there can be really something if you haven't been there before. After spending most of my life in Abuja, Lagos and Port Harcourt,my parents finally decided to let us spend the Christmas holidays in the village so we could get to know our heritage, and other family relatives as I and my siblings haven't really met our grandparents and only knew like 5% of our cousins.
I really had mixed feelings going to the village as I didn't know what to expect, I was majorly concerned with a good internet connection as that was all that mattered to me, so I asked my dad if he was sure I will be able to use the internet over there, he not helping matters at all gave me a pretty conniving answer by saying I will survive, that i shouldn't worry.

When it was time to leave, we had already packed everything a day before to ensure we weren't forgetting any thing and I ensured I didn't leave any of my garget behind. Not for a show off as my mum originally thought, but because I technically don't know how to survive without this gargets having to a melancholic personality. We where up as early as 4:am as we prepared to set out, my dad ensured that we were only wearing light clothings so as not to encounter any inconveniences along the way. So we entered the black sienna my dad had hired for us, I actually wondered why we didn't use ours and he was like this ones are used to the road. And I still didn't understand until we were on the road.

My goodness that was the day I discovered and understood the meaning of "this ones are used to the road". Horrible is an understatement if I should use a word to describe the experience. The road was something else for the first two hours and my dad told everyone "sleep now if you want to" I didn't bother as I was on social media at that time until I heard and felt as if I was going to fall over a Clif from the car my phone screen literally cracked from that experience as the driver didn't start the journey on the bad road very well.

I wasn't even concerned with my self I was more angry for my cracked screen Than I was for myself that I didn't know when I shouted at the driver about breaking my phone screen, and the driver didn't even apologize nor acted as if anything happened. I had to use the seatbelt immediately and kept my phone in a position where it won't fall out. From there we had another 30mins of cruise but because my mom said we haven't even started and you are complaining I knew there might be other potholes around.

I was expecting two or three only to encounter a whole Journey of it. After all that, I can't remember if we had any other cruise moment as we were just waving to and fro in the car, my ass began to hurt, as well as my back, as a matter of fact it took three days to recover from the body pain I got from those potholes.
