Last year, July 2024, was a historic moment for Bangladesh. At that time, the autocratic government, namely the Awami League-led grand coalition government, was in power. They had been involved in various atrocities, looting and corruption since they were in power for a long time. Although the student movement started in July last year for quota reform in jobs and the abolition of the quota system. But when Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina made sarcastic comments about everyone involved in the quota reform movement, that movement gradually took the form of a change of government. At one point, that government committed genocide to stop the student movement. In this movement, it quickly spread from every district to the city to the rural areas. And the general public started participating in it. Starting from the government and the government forces, everyone committed genocide on the people. But at one point, the people of Bengal took to the streets to overthrow the government and the government eventually fell because all the forces, starting from the army, gradually stood against the government and finally the Prime Minister of that time and his ministers were forced to flee the country.
On this occasion, July Rebirth Day is celebrated in every school in the country. We also celebrated this day in our school yesterday. As part of the day, poetry recitation, essay writing competition and drawing competition related to last year's July were participated in. The students of the school participated spontaneously. And they enjoyed the day a lot. Those who came first, second and third among them were given prizes in each event. Yesterday, along with the students, we also enjoyed this day a lot and celebrated it with due fun. And if they were vaccinated while maintaining discipline, we arranged prizes and handed over the prizes to them.
