How are you all? I hope you are all well. I am also well, Alhamdulillah. I am here again with another new post. Today I will share with you what kind of work I have to do in my lab, or what I do sitting in the lab all day. Let's start-

You know that I work as a lab assistant in a private university. All my work is in the lab of the EEE department. There is nothing much to say about work, when the practical classes are held, the sirs take out all the instruments and sit down.

I have been working for 10 days now. I have not had to do much work in these 10 days. There are no lab classes at the university at the moment because of the exams. So I have to spend the whole day sitting. No work.

In between, I had to work a little for two days, one day some new instruments were coming and I had to put them in the right place and two days there was a practical exam, at that time I had to take out all the things. Again, I put them in the right place after the class.

Apart from that, I have to spend 8 hours sitting in the lab every day. But I don't pass the time, I take some books with me from home, sit in the lab all day and study them. Although I don't like studying like before. I have a big exam next month, I don't feel like sitting down to study. God knows what's happening to me.

Yesterday there was a physics practical exam in the lab. I reached the university at 9. Then I opened the lab and sat down. The students came at 9:30. Shortly after that, the sir came to take the exam. The sir came and told me what equipment I would need, I opened the cupboard and took them out.

Some things were in another place, sir showed me where they were, since I don't know where all the new things are. After taking out the things, I sat to one side. The students started doing the practical given by sir.

I was standing by and watching, trying to understand what they were doing. Although I had a dream of studying at the university, I lost to fate and today I am working at the university. No one except the Creator can tell when and where destiny will take me. Sometimes I feel very bad, but I try to understand my mind and move forward with my life.

The practical exam goes on till 12:30 pm. After that, the sir himself leaves with the students' siblings. Now my work begins. Now I have to open all the equipment that the students have misplaced and put it in the right place. So that when the sir says again, I can take it out very quickly. After putting all the things in the cupboard, I washed my hands and face from the washroom.

This is basically my work. However, since the physics and department labs are together, it is a bit of a hassle, I have to remember where I have kept all the things. So that I can take them out when the sir says. Another easy method is to write the name of the things and stick them on each locker in the cupboard. So that I can easily find them by looking at the name. And earlier, the person in charge of the lab also used to write the name, I have started doing this again, so that I can easily find them.

At noon, I eat the food I brought from home while sitting in the lab. In fact, the lab is my home for 8 hours. However, there is no such hassle in the job, and all the sirs in our department are very good. Their words and behavior are also very good. If I don't understand something, they easily explain it to me.
