What's up people, how are you? welcome to a new post, I hope you like it, today I decided to write a little about my occupation (handwork), please note that all the pictures in this post are mine and no plagiarism.
I am victor Job, a student of social work and a building engineer by profession, I just want to take you on a ride on what I do.
I was born into a family of 5 children, I am the first born child and also the first son. (yes the first son).
I took this picture while in school.
My father is a building engineer, he is a graduate of civil engineering from the plateau state polytechnic, ever since he graduated he stick to his field of study which is building engineering, he is specialize in all kinds of building, tailing, plastering, German floor, DBC, etc. I grow up with the knowledge of what engineering is all about and how to put it into practice.
I started following my father to work in the year 2006 which is 16 years ago, so you see, I grew up in the system.
I practically learn from my father and other engineers that I've worked with, I worked under my father for 8 years (from 2006 - 2014), before I started on my own (though he still call me to work under him, and I always respond to his call, after all he is my Father, my mentor and my Boss all at the same time). I got my first contracts in the year 2017, the contract is worth #120,000 (One hundred and twenty thousand naira only). Ever since then I have been working hard to earn a living and to also save some money to help myself while in school.
I am specialize just like my father in all types of building, tailing, wall plastering, wall stone work, trawling, wall painting, German floor etc.
This is me at one of my working site
Bellow are the building of few houses I contracted and some that I have worked under other engineers and friends, some of the buildings are completed while some are still uncompleted.
