I want to share with you today, my visit to the Expoferia del Cacao y Chocolate Cumaná 2025 in its first edition, which was held at the Centro Comercial Hiper Galería (Traki), held on the 16th and 17th of this month, organized by the Instituto Municipal Autónomo de Turismo del estado Sucre (IMATUR) and different organizations that supported this event. I tell you that on the opening day, I had the opportunity to enjoy it to the fullest with my co-worker, Elizabeth. She asked me to accompany her to do some shopping and you know that I could not refuse.
When I arrived at the aforementioned mall, I found this wonderful experience. When I saw it, I told my partner to stop and enjoy it for a while. This event was focused on showing the cocoa produced in our state of Sucre, as well as, its different presentations of drinks, sweets and food, in addition to cosmetics and pharmaceutical products based on cocoa. Seeing producers, entrepreneurs and lovers of cocoa and chocolate gathered in this place was a fantastic experience, they really stood out in showing the wonderful talent we have in our state of Sucre.
I was glad to see some of the lectures and talks that made reference to the historical, cultural and economic value of cocoa from its exploitation to the present day in our state of Sucre. The cocoa produced in Sucre is of good quality. I loved going through each of the stands located around the stage, seeing the magic that surrounds the cocoa and its derivatives that give us its flavor and aroma. The brands of regional chocolate producers, including Yeih, Aroko, CataTour, Montagne Chocolates, Don Vicente, Tu Chocolate 13J, among many brands that were present. I also loved seeing crafts focused on cocoa, those pendants and tendrils were beautiful 😍, as well as seeing the decoration of the place, with lots of cocoa all over the booths. There were some girls dressed in typical costumes of our national tricolor, they were beautiful, I fell in love with them 🥰.
For the tasting, there were points of sale, payment in QR, you only had to scan the code in the stands, when paying, you could taste their products of white, dark and semi-dark chocolate bars, as well as chocolate-based drinks, nougat, granolas, desserts, chocolate-based sweets. There was a lot of variety to take advantage of and buy, in addition to the good price. I was satisfied with having participated in the event, it was colorful, well organized and the people were very friendly. I hope that this kind of activities will continue to be held in our state, so we have the opportunity to know the products made by our producers and entrepreneurs, it is also an opportunity to support them to continue growing. Quiero compartir con ustedes el día de hoy, mi visita a la Expoferia del Cacao y Chocolate Cumaná 2025 en su primera edición, que se realizó en el Centro Comercial Hiper Galería (Traki), efectuado el día 16 y 17 de este mes, organizado por el Instituto Municipal Autónomo de Turismo del estado Sucre (IMATUR) y diferentes organizaciones que apoyaron este evento. Les cuento que el día de apertura, tuve la oportunidad de disfrutarla al máximo al lado de mi compañera de trabajo, Elizabeth. Ella me pidió el favor para que la acompañara a realizar unas compras y saben que no me pude negar.
Al llegar al mencionado centro comercial, me encontré con esta maravillosa experiencia. Al verla, le dije a mi compañera para detenernos y disfrutarla un buen rato. Este evento estaba enfocado en mostrar el cacao que se produce en nuestro estado Sucre, así como, sus diferentes presentaciones de bebidas, dulces y alimentos, además de cosméticos y productos farmacéuticos a base de cacao. Ver en este lugar reunidos a los productores, emprendedores y amantes del cacao y el chocolate, fue una experiencia fantástica, de verdad que se destacaron en mostrar el talento maravilloso que tenemos en nuestro estado Sucre.
Me alegro ver parte de ponencias y charlas que hacían referencia al valor histórico, cultural y económico del cacao desde su explotación hasta nuestros días en nuestro estado Sucre. El cacao que se produce en Sucre es de buena calidad. Me encantó pasar por cada uno de los Stand ubicados alrededor del escenario, ver la magia que envuelve el cacao y sus derivados que nos regalan su sabor y aroma. Las marcas de productores regionales de chocolate, entre ellas Yeih, Aroko, CataTour, Montagne Chocolates, Don Vicente, Tu Chocolate 13J, entre muchas marcas que tuvieron presente. También me encantó ver artesanías enfocadas en el cacao, estaban bellos esos colgantes y zarcillos 😍, así como ver la decoración del lugar, con muchos cacaos por todos los stand. Habían unas niñas vestidas con trajes típicos de nuestro tricolor nacional, estaban hermosísimas, quede enamoradas con ellas 🥰.
Para la degustación, había puntos de ventas, pago en QR, solo debías escanear el código en los stand, al pagar, podías degustar de sus productos de barras de chocolate blanco, oscuro y semioscuro, además de bebidas a base de chocolates, así como turrón, granolas, postres, dulces a base de chocolate. Había mucha variedad para aprovechar y comprar, además del buen precio. Quedé satisfecha con haber participado en el evento, estuvo lleno de colorido, buena organización y la gente fue muy amable. Me llevo una hermosa experiencia de este evento, espero que se sigan realizando este tipo de actividades en nuestro estado, así tenemos la oportunidad de conocer los productos que elaboran nuestros productores y emprendedores, además es una oportunidad más para apoyarlos a seguir creciendo.
